Well, in 2013 both teams played in the Wild Card Play-In game, and both lost.

In 1995 the Reds got to the National League Championship Series vs the Braves, but got swept. The Indians won the A.L. pennant and lost in the World Series to the Braves in six games.

In 1940, the Reds won the N.L. pennant, and the Indians fell just short of winning the A.L. by finishing 1 game behind Detroit, or there would have been a Cincinnati vs Cleveland World Series.

thanks for the info, for some reason all i can get to are my notifications, sez the board doesnt exist

From the corner of Carnegie and Ontario, the Guardians 10, Royals 6.

That's the infamous Slider Dog. Pimento macaroni and cheese, bacon and Fruit Loops.

It makes zero sense how damn good it was. My mind still can't comprehend it. <-- I agree there.

I just can't somehow can't  get over the  fruit loops part .... on a hot dog .... at a ball game  .... I just can't think about bite and crew and swallow part.   Nope,  can't do that, might want to but ..... no can't  do it.    Nope.

Good win with all things considered.

Josh Naylor out.

Jose in a multiple game slump.

Close with the blown save.

Now the July 5th GAME 3 of 3 started out flat in the first inning and can't get an RBI in the next 5 innings.  Now following an exciting game 2 with a terrible GAME 3 RUBBER Match.

ATL  8 19 0   WP Tonkin  5-2  2.55  ERA   -◇-   CLE  1 7 0   LP Quantrill  2-6  6.45  ERA.
