OK, I understand where you're coming from. You took one comment from Cal about increasing crime and help put the hijack in full gear. But that's Ok . Carry on.

Whether or not the crime rate in general has declined or increased is not really the issue. This has to do with consequences of democrats position on illegal immigration.

A decrease in the crime rate doesn't mean it's acceptable for people who don't belong here to commit crime.
