The third party isn't a legit contender at all. It's just that a certain percentage of voters

will let everybody else decide who the next president is.

He’s not winning or anything, both the major parties will make sure of that, but he’s pushing the envelope, and in a way, blurring the lines between the 2 major parties’ platforms. I don’t think l’m alone in saying the issue platforms of the 2 major parties have become bastardized versions of what they used to be. 

He’s a guy from a prominent democrat family, but he’s championing some right wing causes. He considered Rand Paul for his running mate? That would have been interesting. If we leveled the playing field where party affiliation meant nothing, l actually like him best so far. He’s honestly my personal front runner. 

This running mate story is weird. It’s notable that Redstate did a story on Kennedy. It’s tough to find a peep about Kennedy’s candidacy in any news outlet, which l believe is by design.
