Titles are registered. Banks know who bought houses. Some folks live in Florida, etc over the winter, and come back in the spring. If they can't speak English, that's a sign.

if the losers had failed to be there 30 days, the police had NO damn right to tell her not to change the locks. They should have arrested the trespassers and that is it. Arresting her was dirty politics - via political influence/orders.

They said they (squatters) were there 30 days. Sounds like they can't verify what either party is saying is true, it's a civil matter. If they were there 30 days, then their rights are being violated. A stupid law is a stupid law, but it's still law. If she's telling the truth, she'll get them out.
