	Just looking at the strength of schedule rankings AP1 posted above - the 1st 3 teams on it are Cleveland, Baltimore and Pittsburgh.  Apparently, Cincy gets a few more chances to exhale this season.

<p>
	Well said! Even Baltimore, who had the best regular season record in the AFC, only went 3-3 in the division.  This is nothing new from the days of Cleveland, Cincy, Houston and Pittsburgh.

		The game will be televised by FOX as their national game at 4:25 PM ET. It will also be the first NFL game in which quarterback<span> </span><strong>Tom Brady</strong><span> </span>will be in the broadcast booth, as he serves as the color commentator to<span> </span><strong>Kevin Burkhardt</strong>, who will handle the play-by-play. Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million deal for that gig.

		Regarding the game itself, the Browns (11-6) are coming off of a playoff season and hope to have QB<span> </span><strong>Deshaun Watson</strong><span> </span>fresh and ready. The Cowboys (12-5) captured the NFC East last year. Both teams suffered disappointing first-round exits, though, as the<span> </span><a href="https://www.battleredblog.com/" style="background-color:transparent;color:#df6108" rel="external nofollow">Houston Texans</a><span> </span>dismantled the Browns 45-14, while Dallas failed to defend their home turf in a 48-32 onslaught against the<span> </span><a href="https://www.acmepackingcompany.com/" style="background-color:transparent;color:#df6108" rel="external nofollow">Green Bay Packers</a>.
	</p>

	<p>
		On the subject of facing the Cowboys, Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said the following:
	</p>

	<blockquote style="background-color:#f6f6f6">
		<p>
			“It’s exciting to be able to open the season at home. Last year’s home opener was electric, and we expect the same atmosphere. We feed off our fans’ energy, and I am sure there will be a little extra juice from them with this being the first one of the 2024 season. The Cowboys are the defending NFC East champs, so it will be a great challenge and we are looking forward to it.”
		</p>
	</blockquote>

	<p>
		The Browns also opened last year at home, as they dominated the Cincinnati Bengals 24-3, only allowing 142 yards of offense to Cincinnati.
	</p>

	<p>
		The NFL on FOX was giving a bit of a preview for the upcoming season with Brady, and that is where they announced that the first game he calls would involve the Cowboys. Everything centered around Dallas, though, with just their tweet touching on the Browns:

		What other games will be on the Browns’ schedule? Jared Mueller<span> </span><a href="https://www.dawgsbynature.com/2024/5/13/24155685/browns-2024-schedule-ravens-bengals-steelers-chiefs-saints" style="background-color:transparent;color:#df6108" rel="external nofollow">previewed the schedule here</a>, calling the match-up with the Cowboys the one that would be “the most hyped up.” Facing them in Week 1 in a national time slot certainly lives up to that hype.
