My 10 year anniversary on this board just passed. 10 years of having similar minded study threads, but haven't been able to have a training camp thread in a while, sadly. Sometimes this adult shit is really for the birds.

Last year, some of my work was found connected to Reddit and then this site directly. As a result of that work, an opportunity opened up to get in on the ground floor of a Fantasy Football data analytics site and to help grow the base of that site. While I've yet to publish anything as an author, I do data mining, topic development and article structure. In the coming weeks, I'll be contributing in video format bridging the gap between the fantasy numbers and how that play translates out on the field. At the end of the day, that's my bread and butter - watching film and interpreting what I see. Then tossing my hat into the gambling arena by projecting how that play and supporting stats might look on your bet sheets.

	 Anyhizzle... the site itself.

	https://brainyballers.com/

Again, mostly targeted at your fantasy enthusiasts, but there will be something for everyone in the days ahead. The videos I will be doing in coordination with the site will be league wide personnel. The rest of the content will have an overwhelming focus on the Brownies and the AFCN as a whole, linked externally to that site, but will be uploaded and available first through my Youtube channel. The channel I'll link at a later time. The idea will be to help fans all over with their pick value, winning leagues, arming them with information to make informed betting decisions, and really just furthering our collective knowledge of the game as fans. Done without bullshit sensationalism, clickbait titles, crunched deadlines and poorly thought out content (some of these sites *should* be embarrassed by their writings)

As for my work on this board? Well, the majority of the time I had to give to that has been allocated to this new project. But that said, I'm still going to do my best to make sure I stop in, give my two cents as a fan and member of this community whenever I get chance.

I'm SO very appreciative of the support I've received for the work I've shared both on and for this board over the decade. Crazy to think it has already been that long. The responses, discussion, upvotes, emails, texts, (RIP Tour) phone calls, thread views and PM's are always encouraging and motivating. I even got a couple tips through Patreon for my gambling advice, which was awesome. I'm excited at where this could go and the team I'm working with. Would it be great to make this a profitable venture? Sure. But at the end of the day, I'm a student of the game and my time dedicated to this is, and will always be, first and foremost a pursuit of passion. A passion I just so happen to like sharing with football fans the world over.

Any further support you're looking to give, please do so in giving the site a visit and a read through. Constructive criticism, praise, ideas on improvement(s), etc etc, are always welcomed. If not here, feel free to email me at runningthe9@gmail.com

The 2nd part of my Dline position review, the IDL, will be posted in this thread soon. Both to jump start the season film review part and, yeah, a bit of shameless self promotion as well.

Welcome to the 2024 season, friends. I'm thankful that communities like this have continued to endure.

One more on Taylen, for you. This is batshit insane, yet he pulls it off.

There are serious coaching points and development to be done here. But at the same time, you have to be a *little* impressed.

Great job sharing your analysis Tuesday on the discord. As someone that played OL for 9 years - I think you looked at all the right things starting with his base. His unique pass pro set sure doesn't make it easy on himself. He'll probably get thrown into the pretty big group of Tackles with shorter arms this year making NFL shoppers not comfortable. As I've pointed out the month or 2 this is a VERY SMALL class of guys that will play LT in the NFL (hence my urgency to hope Berry understands the importance of draft preparation for the teams biggest need).

Despite all that, Carter Smith has given up 0 sacks. Therefore, beyond the good luck - there's a scrappy volume of work worthy of praise IMO. Hopefully I didn't just jinx him; because I want them to beat Miami. They can't do it without getting Rueben Bain Jr blocked though.

I'm pretty sure Smith will get drafted by somebody; but I don't know if it will be to play LT (which you pointed with not an NFL OT). Interestingly enough, the Bears drafted 6'8" Tackle Ozzy Trapilo from BC in round 2 in 2025 (who took over the starting job at LT in week 12 before getting injured in the 2nd half of their playoff game vrs GB) but the biggest thing that surprises me here is his short arm length for a guy that height shown below. This guy became pretty damn good for a rookie despite that 33" arm length handicap that give NFL scouts panic attacks. I'm guessing he does some things a lot easier with more fluidity than Carter Smith - but I admire Carter Smith's effort. You don't accomplish giving up 0 sacks as a LT if you're not willing to work for 60 minutes. I wouldn't use a 1st or 2nd round pick on him but in round 6 or 7 to kick him in at OG or try him at RT or maybe even Center? Why not?

Great stuff per the usual, but watching Moore play you can definitely see why he’s going to be a top 5 pick on potential.

of course, it’s another year of a seemingly overt franchise guy in Mendoza being out of grasp for the Browns. I swear to God before I’m dead the Browns will luck into a #1 overall pick in a draft with a guy like Burrow, Luck, etc.

Moore is really sloppy with the football whether it's handoffs, snaps or pitches. Basic stuff you're not supposed to worry about. Oregon's overwhelmed Texas Tech's offense. TT's Defense was playing well considering the turnovers and short fields they kept inheriting. As the time of possession margin increased in favor of Oregon - TT's D finally gave up a couple TDs. Oregon's D seems to be getting much less credit for that team's success; but that margin of error favor they give Dante Moore means their remaining opponent needs to be aware of it. Indiana probably is - but Oregon seems like a tough team to beat twice imo.

Refs were letting them play. But the TTU offense, specifically the QB, weren't in any position to merit flags.
