And yes, the court could make legal immigrants illegal. It can also make illegal immigrants legal. The difference is just some paperwork. That doesn't change the fact the Haitians are here legally. 

And you might want to read the article I posted detailing the history of Haitians in Springfield. I mean, you being completely delusional and believing the most fear mongering nonsense about immigrants is nothing new, but it seems especially hateful when these Haitians came on their own, are legal, and are trying to get as much work as they can (employers in the area are happy).

I understand the baseline motivations for the uproar. Xenophobia is probably the more pertinent hurdle, not racism.

I lived a lotta years thinking that overpopulation was a concern as far as big picture stuff goes. Apparently we’re going in the other direction as a nation. I was unaware. Unless we start breeding like maniacs yesterday, outsourcing is our best bet to fill shoes. 

The dynamics of merging cultures is as funky as it’s always been. The results can be pretty cool though. We can look to your favorite state of Michigan to see what it looks like decades down the road with killer Lebanese restaurants and Muslims voting republican.
