Again, I went to draft, and for some reason, I had no list, no draft button. ???

I did have my players rated/listed ahead of time.....

but I found out, that the auto draft went by position. So, I had Josh Allen as my first pick, and Baker Mayfield as my second. lol

but the auto draft passed by Baker and went to wr.

Next spring I'll have a new computer that supports Windows 11, which won't be supported anymore.

In the Phil Dawson league, my Kosardawgs lost again, to Browns57. The score?

I lost by .8 of a point. LOL. His TE, Brock Bowers, LV, got...43 points. wow.

Scoring td's is exciting, (unless your team is getting kicked around), but I have doubts about the Buffalo defense. I am shocked the ratbird defense fell apart. In the earlier part of that game, the Bills seemed to have a game-plan of short throws etc. Seems they played right into the strengths of the ratbird defense.

I wish stupanski had at least a little bit of great instincts to make adjustments during a game.

They said it was the 12th blown double-digit  4th Q lead for the Ratbirds in the last 3 seasons, wow.

I disagree on Stefanski. Can he do better, of course he can.

Our O line basically can't run block effectively anymore for a whole game. It makes them one-dimensional.

We all knew the Browns needed help there, so they drafted 2 RBs & 2 QBs instead. 4 of the 5 starting O linemen are in the last year of a contract.

I realize you can't fix a whole unit in a draft, but they didn't really try.

A familiar phrase around here....maybe next year?, but I won't give up hope on this season yet.

I've never been a fan of these shootout-type games. Defense should be a part of football.

Every game has its own ID, but here's hoping the Browns don't get conservative on Sunday. The Ratbirds D is vulnerable.

As much as I hate that team, it's weird that their D is swiss cheese lately. They've typically been strong on D- crazy take, Browns have a chance this week.

That is freaking impressive for the first game.

Well I won the first weekend of our FFL with Derrick Henry setting it all up with his amazing runs & TDs and then ironically his key fumble to set up my QB Josh Allen for one of the great comebacks in pro ball. I won it going away.

After the autodraft function kept taking over, it kept picking my arranged preference picks by position. I had Baker Mayfield as my second pick, but it already picked my first pick - which was Allen.

Buffalo won, 41-40. What a hell of a game.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/recap?gameId=401772918

"Allen finished going 33 of 46 for 394 yards and two touchdowns and earned his 77th win, tying Joe Ferguson for second on the Bills list."

Pretty good - especially against the stinking ratbird defense. And, very excellent, for a qb that was labeled "garbage" by a couple of self-assured football "gurus"...............................

You know, the same few belligerent stuffed shirts that said Leinart was the pocket passer that was going to be NFL ready, while I had Josh Allen as my 1st round pick in my stupid mock draft.

I was concerned about Henry rampaging against the Bills defense, though. He's a monster rb. And everyone knows that Jackson roadrunner is dangerous running, not so much at all when throwing long throws.... my KosarDawgs were supposed to lose 119 to 140.99 in our Phil Dawson league..... That is crazy.

I got lucky - the "Riot Fighters" had three players badly fail to meet expectations - Nico Collins, Tony Pollard, and /Tyreek Hill.

BTW-Josh Allen set a new NFL record. In 715 NFL games where the team was behind 15 points with 5 minutes to go in the game, not one team had ever come from behind to win any of those games until Sunday night. And he did it with just a little over 4 minutes 15 points behind. It's well worth youtubing that ending.

I got the notice for my fantasy football team on Yahoo. I was wondering if we are doing the eliminator game and the weekly picks game?

I will attempt to set up a Survivor pool, stay tuned....

@browns57 said:

I think Zombo controls those? At least he used to. They are not showing up for me either so I am guessing they may not have been renewed with invites sent out for this year, or maybe we missed them.

Yeah, Zombo basically disappeared. I posted last year that I was running a Survivor pool for us, only 4 others joined.
