Me too Bob!    If you don't have decent/healthy Tackles - it shrinks where you can run the ball down to running exclusively between the Guards which can make the Browns easy to defend IMO.

I'd be fine if durability at OT was a huge problem in recent years.  Dawand Jones went on IR both years. Jed Wills also finished on IR last year and has been oft-injured. Jack Conklin was on IR during week 2 in 2023 and has been oft-injured. 

All that said, this team had a ton of needs and filled many with some pretty impressive selections.  OT, Safety and Cornerback will probably be priorities for next year.  It's also possible they can still sign veteran FAs out there or anyone else's training camp cuts.

Tartanyan may be the coolest name ever. It’s basically a Musketeer’s name, except with less apostrophes and less Frenchiness.

BTW, thank you!  I knew we couldn't get everything in 1 draft so we still have Thornhill's Safety spot to fill - maybe FA Justin Simmons?  We drafted 2 good RBs, a great TE, a great DT, an instinctive tackling machine at LBer - also good vrs the pass.  

I'll be leaving soon to go downtown for the Jim Gaffigan show at Playhouse Square, if Cleveland is still standing after the excitement over Shedeur Sanders ?

My nightmare - which I mentioned recently concerning Milroe - was that the Browns take a project QB this draft and see just enough in him that they skip QB draft next year that should be much better and we miss our shot at a top QB prospect. I now worry that Sanders might show just enough to make the Browns think they can skip a QB next draft, but long-term he ends up being a JAG.

When the pick was announced I immediately tabbed NFL dot coms draft tracker and checked the remaining draft rounds to see that we had no more picks.  I still haven't researched the terms of the trade to move ahead of the Eagles to take him...and I thought to myself, 'They thought enough of him that, even though they drafted Gabriel in the 3rd, he was worth the rest of their draft capital to get ahead of the Eagles and get him into their building'.  Of course, they only had a 6th & 7th round picks left.  

Now it's my turn to say, I Told Yas So. ?  We will not be picking 5 guys in the 6th & 7th rounds.
