Derringer left a huge mark on the rock and guitar world respectively.. His big hit Rock and Roll Hoockie Koo.. was a big anthem for us back in the 70's...  So long Rick..  And thank you for taking the time to answer a few questions I had one time... I loved Rick... Him and Johnny Winter were huge influences along with the usual suspects.. Rick was not big in stature but his personality and natural talent more than made up for it.. He was so well rounded.. Grounded in Christianity.. Guys like him.. Steve Lukather and Glenn Campbell were great for the session scene and more... He'll be missed...
