Love Korean food. One of my close friends from college was from South Korea. I visited Seoul years ago, did the DMZ / reunification museum tour, etc. 

Superior is what I thought, but wasn’t positive.

Kims Market used to be on the other side of Superior. Sold to the current owners and relocated there. The wife and I knew the former owners, who have since set up a new business in Concord. 
Since we’ve been on the subject, a nice American dream story.

The Baeks were immigrants, of the legal variety. They began their life’s work here in Cleveland as factory workers. In the summer they worked as street vendors selling ice cream and hot dogs.
Somewhere along the way the Baeks  were able to purchase that rickety old building on Superior and start their little store. They lived on the second floor.
They worked that store 7 days a week earning enough to be able to send their son through law school, while “movin’ on up” to a deluxe home on the West Side

They achieved the American dream through hard work and sacrifice without all the free stuff that the illegals are entitled to.

Absolutely. Korean food is not easily palatable to we westerners as is Chinese or Japanese, thus the Korean restaurant scene is not quite as popular here as the other two...but I really started to like it once I got used to it.

North Korea is a closed society. So isolated that even the common citizen has no access to the internet. What do they need English for?

Incredible. I knew the quality of life was very different between the 2 sides but that is a stark contrast.

I’m a fan of the food. I figure you are too.

North Korea is a closed society. So isolated that even the common citizen has no access to the internet. What do they need English for?

Which link are you commenting on? Cool insight. Are there differences between North and South Koreans when speaking English? I figure South Koreans work harder at it. 

While North Korean children are taught English in schools, they rarely speak it. This guy is fluent.
