	This was my most recent mindless action flick of the moment. It’s on Netflix right now and stars Tom Hardy.
</p>

<p>
	I think l’ve seen enough of his work that l know what l’m going to get. He plays a broody dude really well and he has a distinctive voice.
</p>

<p>
	This flick started off a little slow for me. Sure, it starts off with a high speed car chase where cops are chasing a semi through city streets, but how many flicks start off with a car chase? Plenty.
</p>

<p>
	After that you get thrust in to a very Gotham like setting with dirty politicians, dirty cops, dirtier cops, and the Cantonese mafia.
</p>

<p>
	If l would’ve “half hour ruled” it l probably would’ve cut it off, but l stuck with it and l’m glad l did.
</p>

<p>
	it took about half the movie but it came together pretty well, at least for a mindless action flick.
</p>

<p>
	The action sequences are vivid. They’re ridiculous in spots, videogame-esque with blood splatter and super judo moves. It’s full throttle once it gets going. The flick does live up to its name.
</p>

<p>
	The story line came together pretty well too. There’s a lot about it that is completely unbelievable, but it worked for me.
</p>

<p>
	I give it a B-.
