WHAT a DEFENSE we have! And yet we're winless.

This week we face a totally different QB style than last week. Just like every D-Coordinator has told their front 7 (or 6), You guys are going to have to contain Jackson. When he drops back to pass, he can't be allowed running lanes. He's perfectly happy and capable of running for first downs all afternoon. It's his schtick. - And on offense, we've gotta find a way to have our running game help our passing game. I just don't see that happening until Judkins can get up to speed and on the field. Ford runs past holes while headed for a pile to smash into. Samson is more suited to being out in space where he can make people miss.

Our receivers should seek out advice from Samson as to how he catches every pass thrown to him, whether it's low, high, wherever. He just catches it.

And lastly, we need a clean game from our kicker.

I wouldn't play him. He hadn't been with the team since June. I'd have him suite up and sit with Sanders. Maybe bring him in as a decoy for a play. Perhaps a carry or two before the game is over. I know that's easier for a RB to jump into the lineup than other skilled positions...but he missed all of the preseason, all of TC, didn't even participate in Wednesday's practice....has never played in an NFL game. I'd also be concerned about pulled muscles and stuff as TC is important for getting your body in game shape.

It's a pretty scary matchup for anyone. Buffalo had to score a ratload of points to beat a load of rats. With the worry of how easily Lamar breaks contain outside (spreading defenses horizontally) - look what that did to the running lanes inside for Derrick Henry at Buffalo. Come to think of it, it wasn't difficult for Lamar to exploit those running lanes either. The vice versa here is while Dlines keep their gap integrity - it's never a guarantee the outside contain will be any easier against Lamar or Henry for that matter.

Here’s your TV map this week. We’re on CBS this time and they’re juggling 7 games so oof.

About 3/4 of Ohio gets the Browns game. Suck it Cincy. Suck it Dayton. And suck it Van Wert.

East West Virginia gets the game. The chubby part of VA gets it too.

Most of MD and some funky parts of PA get the game. Oddly enough the greater Louisville area gets the game. Those folks must still be ate up over Lamar. Good for them.

I recall when we drafted Baker that OK would show Browns games for a year or 2 afterwards. That faded, but Lville is still going for it.
