	...that is the question.  Whether 'tis noble......'nuff of that.  <span><img src="https://brownsboard.com/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f642.png?v=2a192e496db" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--slightly_smiling_face" title=":slightly_smiling_face:" alt="🙂" /></span>
</p>

<p>
	<span>There are still two more games to play for evaluating Sanders.  I really want to say, I've seen enough...but of course, that's not the right mindset.  Especially with our imminent high first round draft pick upcoming in April, and at least one QB that most really like out there to be drafted.  But what is it that we want to see out of Shedeur in these last two games?  </span>
</p>

<p>
	He's a rookie.  Playing on one of the worst offensive teams in the league.  With probably the worst offensive line and WR corps in the league.  With those facts in hand, What would anyone expect to see from him?  He can't magically make those two groups any better.  And they are CRUCIAL to a QB's success.  In all honesty, I just want to see him reach the end of the season without any of his body parts getting broken to pieces.
</p>

<p>
	Here's what I've seen:
</p>

<p>
	A QB that doesn't look like the game is too big or fast for him.  He looks poised and under control.
</p>

<p>
	A guy who tries to make plays when the play is not unfolding like it should.  And he actually does just that a few times a game.
</p>

<p>
	I'm pleasantly surprised by him at the podium behind the microphone.  He's humble about the things that he didn't get right during games.  He's thankful for where he's at and appreciates the chance that he's given.  He doesn't throw anyone under the bus, not players, positions or coaches.  He stands behind and supports them all.  He's also quick to point out when a reporter is asking a question that is looking for him to throw shade,  You're just looking to start trouble he'll say, with a smile and a laugh.  Maan, I like that!
</p>

<p>
	I can imagine the pressure that he was under when given the chance to start.  A person who's draft became a mockery.  All kinds of pundits and talking heads saying how bad he was.  He's handled it all remarkably well.
</p>

<p>
	I like him! (so far)  And according to reports, his team mates like and support him.  I would like to move forward with him.  I'd like to see them attack the offseason with the mindset of getting Shedeur Sanders the protection and tools that a QB needs to be successful.  Drake Maye was not incredibly successful in his first season.  Most QB's aren't. And  I actually think that he's a great fit for Cleveland.  He's a college star who's been jilted and tarnished, but he doesn't let and won't let that affect him and his attitude towards the game.  He doesn't act like he's got a chip on his shoulder.  He doesn't need to be angry to provide himself with a spark and direction.  Again, I like that!
</p>

<p>
	In the final two games I'd like to see him continue what he's doing.  Take the check down passes.  Don't try to prove yourself by throwing downfield to guys that can't get open because it's THE THING that you need to do to keep the starting QB job throughout the offseason.  Just continue to learn, grow, and not be the reason that the team loses.
</p>

<p>
	I want him.

<p>
	I don't dislike Sanders, but watching him a lot in college, and with the Browns....

<p>
	some things are a concern - his decision making is slow, pocket awareness just doesn't seem up to par all too often, ....I think he may be more of a backup qb.

<p>
	If he became an above average starting QB, it would help offset the damage caused by the Watson trade. He'll be very cheap the next three seasons.
</p>

<p>
	But I have a feeling the Browns aren't going to stand pat and just go with Sanders or Watson this season. At the least, they will try and fail to bring in someone to start over them.

<p>
	Yeah, that was a joke too.   Wasn't that the last actual tackle football game of the pro bowl.
</p>

<p>
	Look, I actually like Sanders...but I don't think that he should've been named to the pro bowl.  So whatever the mechanism is that got Sanders the pro bowl title to his name ( whomever wants to go to the pro bowl step forward.  And everyone but Sanders takes a step back ) should be trashed....like the whole pro bowl event thingy itself.  Just announce the All Pro selections.  And then the respective pro bowl squads, AFC &amp; NFC, and that's it.  If ya want, the All Pro's get and All Pro ring...and the rest get a Pro Bowl ring.  -  My 2 cents.

	Before today, Patriots QB <a href="https://www.profootballnetwork.com/players/drake-maye" rel="external nofollow" title="Drake Maye">Drake Maye</a>, <a href="https://www.profootballnetwork.com/nfl-hq/teams/buffalo-bills/" rel="external nofollow" title="Buffalo Bills">Buffalo Bills</a> QB <a href="https://www.profootballnetwork.com/players/josh-allen" rel="external nofollow" title="Josh Allen">Josh Allen</a>, and <a href="https://www.profootballnetwork.com/nfl-hq/teams/los-angeles-chargers/" rel="external nofollow" title="Los Angeles Chargers">Los Angeles Chargers</a> QB <a href="https://www.profootballnetwork.com/players/justin-herbert" rel="external nofollow" title="Justin Herbert">Justin Herbert</a> were the three QBs listed on the AFC’s Pro Bowl roster. With Maye going to the Super Bowl, his spot needed to be filled, hence why Sanders had the opportunity to be named to the roster. Still, there was more that led to Sanders being the <a href="https://www.profootballnetwork.com/nfl/" rel="external nofollow" title="NFL News, Rumors, and Analysis">NFL</a>’s <a href="https://x.com/MySportsUpdate/status/2015849116689924406?s=20" rel="external nofollow">choice</a>:

		That’s how it trickles down to Shedeur… <a href="https://t.co/YdPE9vv4cd" rel="external nofollow">https://t.co/YdPE9vv4cd</a>

<p>
	As NFL insider Ari Meirov lays out, <a href="https://www.profootballnetwork.com/nfl-hq/teams/denver-broncos/" rel="external nofollow" title="Denver Broncos">Denver Broncos</a> QB Bo Nix, <a href="https://www.profootballnetwork.com/nfl-hq/teams/kansas-city-chiefs/" rel="external nofollow" title="Kansas City Chiefs">Kansas City Chiefs</a> QB Patrick Mahomes, and <a href="https://www.profootballnetwork.com/nfl-hq/teams/indianapolis-colts/" rel="external nofollow" title="Indianapolis Colts">Indianapolis Colts</a> QB Daniel Jones are all injured. All three of these options could have, and probably would have, been the names the NFL chose from, but instead, this honor went to Sanders."
</p>

</p>

<p>
	and now, for that great point:
</p>

<p>
	"Looking at other options the NFL had, even with the three QBs above being injured, it’s hard to argue that Sanders was more deserving. One player in particular who jumps out is <a href="https://www.profootballnetwork.com/nfl-hq/teams/jacksonville-jaguars/" rel="external nofollow" title="Jacksonville Jaguars">Jacksonville Jaguars</a> QB <a href="https://www.profootballnetwork.com/players/trevor-lawrence" rel="external nofollow" title="Trevor Lawrence">Trevor Lawrence</a>.

	Great for him!  But it's sad.  Nobody wants to be bothered with it so they have to go down the list until they find someone who'll go...and he gets to be a pro bowl player.  Just do away with the festivities  and return the honor of being a pro bowler.  Shedeur shouldn't be one.
