	The Rams practiced all week in 80 degree temperatures.  It was 70 degrees colder for the game in Chicago.  And the Rams won.
</p>

<p>
	Some years back, near the end of the season we needed to beat the Saints to stay alive for a playoff spot.  At the time it was one of the 10 coldest games in NFL history.  The Saints were not good.  They had to play the Wild-Cat for quite a percentage of the game because their QB issue(s) were so bad.  And they beat us.  Watson threw a beautiful TD pass to Njoku crossing the back of the end zone.  Would've hit him right in the numbers.  Except his numbers were on the ground.  He was flat on his back because he slipped and fell to the ground.  Watson threw another TD pass to Njoku...except the ball slid right through his frozen hands.  And yet another TD pass to DP Jones in the corner of the end zone...and yup, the ball slid right through his frozen hands.  WE were the one's affected.
</p>

<p>
	That Rams - Bears game was a great game.  Why was it a great game?  The Rams had struggled towards the end of the season.  They were waaaay out of their element, right?  And the Texans gave the Pat's all they could handle in New England's cold snow and sleet.  Why?   Where's the home field advantage?  The fact is, nobody looks forward to playing a football game in the temperatures of the Rams - Bears game.  The away team AND the home team have to deal with those conditions...
</p>

<p>
	Might as well go ahead and build the dome Jimmuh.

	Many years ago, Dad and I went to a game at the old stadium, in a freaking blizzard.
</p>

<p>
	It was fun, but I can see a stadium that protects from a roaring rage, blizzard, especially for the fans that

	Football was never to be played in frigid temps and blowing snow.
</p>

<p>
	It's a fall sport.  Seasons were over by mid November in most cases.  NFL championships by early December.  Bowl games went to warm weather locations.  This idea that it was meant to be played in cold weather is a load of crap.

			True, but domes make it feel like you're in a movie theater. I've gone to about 5-6 Browns away games in domes, I didn't care for it.

	Believe it or not, I understand that sentiment.  So long as it carries over to baseball also.
