	only 4 rounds - but my better instincts are kicking in after serious goofy analysis and confusion, and a whole lot of iced tea.
</p>

<p>
	This draft is crazy. I do believe that the Giants pick Tate at 5. I'm guessing that Downs has to be the choice, but I think he could also be gone..... But, at every Browns draft party, Browns fans should not be drinking any drink they have, or they might spit it out at the choice actually announced by the Browns.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>FIRST ROUND A/PICK 6</strong>:<strong> Kenyon Sadiq, TE ! All Browns fans will go apecrap, but this pick is a great one. Sadiq has 4.38 forty speed, with wr skills, 6'3, the Browns need a great wr, he is a great tight end. You heard it here first !</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>First ROUND B</strong><strong>/PICK 20</strong>:  <strong>Max Iheanachor, OT. The Browns give up a later draft pick to the Cowboys, to move up 4 picks, AHEAD of the squeelers, to get their OLT. Iheanachor is a GREAT pick here. Let the squeeler fans spit up their beer.</strong>
</p>

<div>
	<div>
		<span><strong>SECOND ROUND</strong> This pick is the Browns WR - </span><strong>Germie Bernard - might be the safest wr pick after Tate. 6'1", 206 lbs, 4.48. </strong>
	</div>

	<div>

	</div>

	<div>
		<strong><span>THIRD ROUND: </span>SAM HECHT, CENTER. </strong>Just about the smartest, one of the very best centers in the draft. Conner Lew is slightly more highly rated, but is coming off an Achilles tendon injury.
	</div>

	<div>

	</div>

	<div>
		<strong><span>FOURTH ROUND: DREW ALLAR, QB, Penn State. </span></strong><span>Well, he was my favorite qb a few years ago, so this is my personal bias pick. I did over-rate Mark Gronowski a good bit, but Drew Allar has serious skills where Gronowski has weaknesses. Gotta pick a qb that can be a legit backup to Sanders.</span>
	</div>

	<div>

	</div>

	<div>
		yes, all four are offense. If it weren't for Sadiq being a dramatic addition to the offense, it could have been Caleb Downs or Sonny Styles, if they were available.
	</div>

<p>
	I found the emoticon but it looks like it was made after Cowher chewed the lips off it. <span>?</span>  Apparently he mistakenly showed a video of what happened to Greg Lloyd after his "PHYSICAL" command got trucked by Kevin Mack. Thank goodness for smelling salts when there's no roosters, alarm clocks or hotel wake up calls accessible on the gridiron. Greg Lloyd did wake back up - it just took him awhile to remember who and where he was...
</p>

<p>
	I was happy for Fano; but it's going to be quite a jump for a rookie going from Utah's schedule to the AFC North so he's got a lot of work ahead on flaws that aren't forgiven at the next level.  I was worried about that for Lomu too if he was selected. I'm getting the impression the Browns may have other ideas at LT; because in a room full of people I thought I heard someone on TV mentioning Fano could possibly play Guard or Center or Tackle (probably the RT comfort zone his college coach preferred him at).  I have me a feeling they could be drafting their LT tonight.  I'm no psychic but I'm thinking Miami's LT Markel Bell is a 6'9" giant that closed the 2nd half of last season REALLY strong giving up ZERO sacks all season on a team hot enough to land in the National Championship Game.  I'm not ready to put my village idiot hat back on - but I dare say I think somebody is drafting him in round 2 tonight.. Don't be surprised if the same team that drafted 2 rookie QBs last year - is the same one that drafts Bell tonight as another OTackle. <em>"Yo quiero Taco Bell."</em>
</p>

<p>
	It's getting kind of cold - is there a DRAFT in here???

	It is worth noting that Beck and Allar don't have star qb projections.
</p>

<p>
	I just think that Beck has reached his limit of development, and Allar has far more upside, if he can overcome his lost time due to injury. Both have had their troubles:

	Overview
</h4>

<div>
	<p>
		Three-year starter who has weathered his share of ups and downs. Beck has NFL-caliber size and a lot of experience playing in high-leverage games. He recovered from 2024 UCL surgery on his throwing elbow, but he appeared to lose some drive velocity on deep balls and move throws. He works through progressions at a good pace and can throw with anticipation, but he loses track of safeties, throwing into hazardous spots. Beck’s decision-making showed more maturity in his final college season, but pressure can pull him back into old habits. He spins a catchable ball with a compact release, but spotty accuracy leads to pass breakups and a lower conversion rate on tight-window throws. Beck projects as a good backup with the potential to earn a starting job down the road, but he must continue developing game-managing instincts."

	<h4>
		Overview
	</h4>

	<div>
		<p>
			Allar looks the part with prototypical size and an effortless arm that can make any NFL throw. However, inconsistent touch and ball placement are a major hindrance. In big moments and big games, he hasn’t proven he can rise to the occasion or sustain efficiency. The stats looked good in a conservative offense as a sophomore, but his play became more erratic once the playbook was opened up and more responsibility was put on his plate. He can be slow to process and get to his best option. He also struggles to adjust his pre-snap plan to fit the coverage. It’s worth noting Allar’s receivers struggled to win man-coverage matchups for him. Against zone, he makes anticipatory throws and beats coverage at an adequate clip. Mechanical fixes are possible, but confidence, poise and recognition must be the foundation of any rebound. Allar projects as an average backup with high-end traits."

		<p>
			Having said that, Beck has had a terrific group of wr's to work with. Not nearly the cases with Allar at Penn State.

			No returning FBS quarterback threw for more yards than Carson Beck’s 3,941 last season.

			There’s little reason to believe that Beck can’t match or top that this season in his second year as the <a href="https://witness.usatoday.com/story/sports/college/bulldogs-extra/2024/05/14/georgia-football-clemson-tigers-tv-channel-kickoff-time/73633591007/" rel="external nofollow">Georgia football</a> starter.

	I would take Beck from Georgia and Miami before I would take a guy with a season ending injury in 2026. And right around round 4 or 5. Give away last year's mistaken on the lake from the 3rd round. How many QB mistakes have the Browns made since their return anyway? Allar would be one more IMO. But like Beck, at least he can see over the line. Both are 6'5".
