<![CDATA[Andy Beshear]]>I read something on social media last week that was talking about how Andy Beshear might run for President. KY is generally considered a strong red state, but they seem to like Beshear and have thus far elected him twice to be their governor.

Since it was a social media post l perused the comments and was kind of surprised at the backlash. Thanks to you guys l know there are people out there who detest any democrat, but l thought most people could draw a distinction between a run of the mill old school democrat and someone like a DSA democrat, but maybe that’s not the case anymore?

Anyway, l went looking through the highlights of what he has accomplished as governor of KY, and it’s fairly impressive. Maybe it’s luck or timing, but KY has seen some real positive growth under his watch. I would much rather have him be a candidate than a guy like Gavin Newsom. What do you guys think?

    Phrase it however you like. It boils down to, do you want a more or less left wing opponent opposing the republican candidate?

    On the one hand, a more left wing candidate would be more unelectable, unless they are elected. A less left wing candidate would be more electable, and perhaps better for the populace?

    Would you rather be saddled with a more or less left wing President, or does it even matter to you?
