Sure, my general population name of ATENEARS chimes in and stirs the pot all the time. Some have a problem differentiating, but that's their problem.

I'm writing you from the ADMIN account, hoping you will take what I'm asking much more seriously, being that the Admin will now go on record to ask what some of you have got to be thinking.

Crennel acted like the kid practically wasn't even here. Forced to give him a nod only after ownership and fans voiced in and/or as a last resort.

Mangini felt the same pressure upon taking the job, and when Anderson didn't woe anyone in preseason, Mangini felt like getting this ugly thing out of the way early and started Quinn in the opener.

Since then, to say that this kid has been stuck in the corner would assume that he is in the same room. I don't think the kid is even a part of the Cleveland Browns right now ... I know he ain't in the plans.

Kosar's comments this week cemented the thing. It sounds as if Kosar, after only a few days in the building, has already given up on the kid too.

WTF?

Is this kid that bad? I've never known him to be a poor attitude, but it sure seems that way. Look at his body language on the sideline, he might as well not even be dressed, he sure ain't on his headset listening to the plays and hearing, let alone providing any input. He's on a island ... he's a cast-off.

After 6 games is this kid done?

Quit with the whining about not getting an opportunity. You'd have to be a complete hot-headed jackass to not be in the mix here. He's not a hot-head, that we know of, so does that mean that not only is his attitude poor, does he flat out suck in practice? Is he that dumb in the class room, or what?

Mangini ain't stupid, he ain't going to just not play the kid if he could help.

Could Brady Quinn go down as the biggest bust in NFL history? And is he going to?

This ain't a BQ or DA thread, this is about BQ, WTF?

Did anyone even attempt to make a trade for him and his very managable contract?

Reply to Is Brady Quinn the Biggest Bust EVER? on Fri, 23 Oct 2009 23:17:06 GMT

In all honesty, if you go back in look at it, the biggest bust in browns history is Mike Phipps.

Conservative?

In previous years people called for Cribbs to be included more. This guy looked at Cribbs as a Safety, made a huge committment to Cribbs as a WR, and now has included him majorly in the WildDawg Offense.

In previous years people called for more Harrison touches. Mangini didn't go out and spend big bucks on a FA RB, he gave Harrison a starting spot with Lewis injurred and it's the best consistient production we've seen out of Harrison bewteen the tackles to-date.

In past years we cried to start/play the rookies; I'd say Mack taking every snap and MoMass and now Robiskie getting into the mix is light years ahead of the last guy.

Keep in mind, we are barely a quarter of the way through the guys first season.

In years past people wanted to see Brady Quinn get the nod. He did just that in weeks 1,2 & 3, until every phase of the offense was horribly stricten, and then he made a switch. Who's to say that was a poor choice? Still yet to be determined.

Mangini has accepted Kosar back, another long term bitch on these boards since we returned to the league.

Mangini ousted two huge pre-MaDonna's (KWII, & BE), and tossed loud mouth Smith off the team and deservingly so. Tough moves, conservative-NOT.

We have a first year play caller to go along with very green talent. Relax, give the guy some rope,

I'm not endorsing Mangin, I'm just tired of hearing people bitch. The things that most bitched about in past years, they are being negative about us trying this year.

ATENEARS

Reply to Is Brady Quinn the Biggest Bust EVER? on Thu, 22 Oct 2009 17:54:42 GMT

I agree. And again BQ was the 22nd pick in the first round not even a top 20 pick. You could never say that the 22nd pick is the biggest bust ever if he never saw the field.

And again BQ this year has faced the 17th, 18th and 2nd ranked defenses (Guess coaching mattered for denver). If they had not had BQ lead Browns to feast on then they would have been 26th ranked, 22nd ranked and 3rd ranked (though 200 yards to the average of 269 for denver). The teams he played have great records but not great defenses.

Mike Junkin.

There have been numerous busts.

I know BQ has really struggled, but you cannot call anyone a bust after starting as many games as he has.

I think this whole team except for a few is void of talent and ANY QB would struggle.

No wide receivers, no tight ends, no running backs and a bad defense and a right side of the OL that resembles a seive.
