  • Watt is pretty much a consolation prize... I actually think he might look pretty good at MLB... at least in our base 4-3, but if not Kirksey can play the middle for me.

    Always interesting to see what the sim does when picking for us... I took BLT... the sim took:

    Round 1 Pick 1 (1) Browns: Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson
    Round 1 Pick 12 (12) Browns: Derek Barnett, DE, Tennessee
    Round 2 Pick 1 (33) Browns: Sidney Jones, CB, Washington
    Round 3 Pick 3 (67) (CHI) Browns: Cooper Kupp, WR, Eastern Washington
    Round 3 Pick 5 (69) (TENN) Browns: Marcus Maye, FS, Florida
    Round 3 Pick 17 (81) (WASH) Browns: Tyler Orlosky, C, West Virginia
    Round 3 Pick 26 (90) (SEA) Browns: Conor McDermott, OT, UCLA
    Round 4 Pick 10 (106) (CHI) Browns: Kareem Hunt, RB, Toledo

    Basically trade-wise it stood pat thru pick #33 and then went nuts... but landed some good value.

    More of an ironic kind of comment for going against the 'popular' pick. Or even when my pick isn't the popular one.

    Do I think they're all wrong? No, not one bit. Just about all?... yep. After the combine I'm willing to bet Barnetts' draft stock takes a serious hit.

    Well, OK, we shall see. I mean, I don't care if we get Derek Barnett, or Dick Barnett (former NBA player), or Dirk Bennett (porn star).

    Just do the Casey Stengal thing: Get us someone that can play this game.

    I agree with Gip. if you want to play Fantasy Draft, I'm starting a new thread just for that. This one is already 71 pages. AND I'm closing this thread and starting a new one draft talk #2. Reality only there, talking about prospects, keep the computer games out of it, please .
