How can you decide about RG3 after only a couple games behind a awful Oline?I am behind Hue 100% And this team.

Easy....you watch him play.....compare him to the other QB's playing under the same circumstance.....see how he executes.....watch his terrible throws.....count his touchdowns....

Players dont have to play on great teams to be evaluated.....truth is, great players play great.....bottom line.....

The RG3 love could also all be part of the annual, pre-draft, smoke screen...

"Captain Checkdown" Kessler Sucks, RG3 sucks, but hey lets roll with them until our QB of the future is ready to start.

Then none of these guys do makes any sense to me......

We're gonna start and play RGIII as a smoke screen?......when the point of tanking this whole season was to play the young guys who are to be our future?......and were gonna sit Kessler(the just drafted future?) and not play him, when playing the young guys was the whole point of this season?

Nope......me thinks Hue thinks RGIII is good......

    Put it this way, Mud...

If we have our future QB (take your pick of the prospects) penciled in at #10-ish, then what better way to diminish/discourage the trade-up market than to let your HC go on and on about his current starter?

Gotta say Im not a fan of RGIII....dont see it.....BUT, still kinda want him and Kess to be the guys next year.....

    Why?....

    1) Im rsigned to the long term rebuild, so whats another year to see if these 2 have it....both have had limited opps

    2) Im not sold on any QB's early this season.....and that includes picking any with 1st-2nd-3rd round picks.....

    3) We can make a huge impact on our defense this year.....and we should seize the opportunity to do it, instead of rolling dice on projects early.....

  • when you are rebuilding the RIGHT WAY, maybe RGIII might be the starter next year...

in preseason, a few games, and then the qb they wanted and got in the draft or trade will have to come in,

and the rest will be history.

He will only be starter for less then a quarter before he gets hurt again.

How many games did Kessler win for us? From what we have now, we don't know what we have now because our Oline is shotty, And Our D is a joke. Sit tight peeps. Things will get better. Hue knows a lot more than any of us.

Sashi and the scouting staff were at the Sun Bowl, wonder if they'll take the hour and change flight over to the Fiesta bowl to take a look at Watson.

Griffin has outlasted the predictions about how long he'd last before getting hit with another major injury, but his durability is still in serious question.

This all day. No matter who the QB is, it's hard to win when defense is giving up 30 points a game. I hope the Browns get some impact defense players in the draft, hoping for Allen with the top pick but we'll see what analytics tells them to do.

Now this would make much more sense if your telling RG he's your QB next season. But instead maybe RG3 reads our scouts were at the Stanford game to scout DE Soloman Thomas/ Mitch who? Shame no Kizer Bowl...what if RG3 can't produce on some Hicksberg backups Sunday? I think Sashi's "Final Say" is well underway.

Fuck I hope not. Also don't want a college stiff. Start Kessler unless you can find a free agent or trade who is better.

Really don't want RGIII but the bolded text is SPOT ON. I was hoping that was going to be the Farmer plan. Beef up the D. Get a solid O-Line and run game. Then take a shot at a franchise QB

What we do know is Kessler can't throw any further than a checkdown.
