  • Seattle always seems to play us tough and Twins will be likely be playing for their playoff lives. ChiSox are mailing it in... checking out kids.

But still have to set that Post-season rotation...

Hey no problem in MLB you can easily lose a good team has a .600 W/L record. HR in the bottom of the 9th it  happens.

We just need to get them to win the last game they play in the postseason.

Fuck Me.   Yea, name the only team to ever lose two World Series in Extra Innings in the 7th game.

OK....check that, another team actually did have it happen.  The Giants, early on.  Here is the list of WS 7th games to go into extras:

1912 Boston Red Sox over NY Giants

1924 Washington Senators over NY Giants   (difference being that the Giants won a couple of World Series in the interim)

1991 Minnesota Twins over Atlanta Braves  1-0 Jack Morris

    1997 Miami Marlins over Indians

    2001 Arizona Diamondbacks over Yankees

    2016 Chicago Cubs over Indians.

I can't watch Rajai Davis' homerun off Chapman in Game 7 without getting really depressed.

To me, it's not a great moment (even though it was a great accomplishment by Davis) but just a big tease.

Man I want this World Series.
