    Well since this thread got bumped- Wee-done never had a game winning drive in his entire pro career- Hoyer has two. Garbage is 4-1 as a starter for the Browns, Wee-done 5-15. Garbage- 60 completion %, 85 qbr. Wee-done 56 completion %, 72 qbr.

    It seems to me that when JM runs to his right, his throws are fairly accurate. When he scrambles to his left, his throws are erratic and off target. Anybody else notice this?

    i believe he went to his left in his only throw in the saint's game...was on target but the receiver dropped the ball....

    jm made a living making throws while running to the right. He was hella good at it in college. Give the kid a break, he's not NFL ready....give him a year or two and he's competing for the starting job. Let's please let this discussion die. I honestly think JM himself is relieved he's not the starter cause it dawned on him what kind of a mental leap it is from college to NFL. Nobody gets by in the NFL on sheer athleticism..especially at QB.

    When will these games cease? These shenanigans? Hoyer has looked competent, but who the heck wants a merely "competent" franchise QB? Hoyer has put up some solid numbers, but his play will never be the difference between a win and a loss. Comparing Johnny to Hoyer right now is like comparing Kobe to Lebron. Lebron may have prettier stats, but Kobe is the better winner. Kobe will always be the better winner, just as Johnny Football will always be the better winner. Johnny Football told this front office to draft him, doing them a favor by offering his services. Give Johnny the damn ball.

    right, taht's why the other week when they asked jf how he felt about Hoyers game winning drive he said are you kidding me I'm fucking proud of him that was ice cold and I'm learning from this. I really like JF and I think he now understands he has to learn under someone in the NFL for a few years.

    Hoyer had over a 127 QB Rating, and is currently at 97.5 for the year.

    Failure at the end of the game was a tipped pass, not a bad pass.

    And for the record, this Team that was supposed to have the Defense as it's identity is currently ranked 32nd in yards per play allowed and are giving up 425yards per game (31st to date).

    Hoyer put the Team in a position to win, even with the Anchor that is our Defense and Special Teams.

    Manziel is not ready.
