DePodesta, Sashi, and Berry. At least on the plus side for Berry- he actually played football at Harvard.  🙂

Analytic skills are Organization skills are not enhanced by playing football.

Some of histories best owners, managers and coaches among others plus broadcasters and journalists "never played the game".

  • the only thing Jimmy hasn’t  done, is sell the team and get the hell out of town

Not gonna happen.   He and his wife are invested in the NFL...plus he has his kids/son-in-law involved now.  That family is in for the long term.

    But...how about this wild speculation:

Jimmy's heart is really in Tennessee.   The heirs of Bud Adams own the Titans:

Ownership of the Titans is now controlled by the consortium of the children and grandchildren of Bud (under the banner of KSA Industries)-- daughters Susie Smith and Amy Strunk, grandsons Kenneth S. Adams IV and Barclay Adams, and their mother Susan Lewis. Strunk owns the largest share of the team, 1/3, and is the team’s controlling owner.

What we can conjecture is that maybe the Adams family could agree to trade their franchise for Jimmy's (maybe all those kids and grandkids would rather not own a football team...this has happened) , and they could agree to sell the Browns. Or Jimmy could agree to sell the Browns and buy the Tits.

How could we make this happen?

Its been done before.     Once upon a time Robert Irsay owned the Rams, then traded them to Carroll Rosenbloom who owned the Colts.   Irsay family, as you know, still owns the Colts.     Also....Art Rooney once traded the Steelers for the Philadelphia Eagles....then he traded back for them:

We would not get another team.  We would get a new owner:   And we need a 3 way deal, wouldn't we?  Tenn. native  Haslam gets the Tits.   NEOhio native DeBartolo/Yorks get the Browns.....who gets the 49ers?

Here is a whole list of candidates, wealthiest in the Bay area
