Baker requests trade. Browns tell him no.

This, ladies and germs, is what is commonly referred to as "Brownsing it up".

Somehow I expect Baker to retire for 2022 if he doesn’t want to be on the roster.

If he sits he doesn't get paid from what I understand.

  • Well Kaepernick is available. You know what would be great? Employing some washed douche nozzle more to interested in lecturing about how racist his existence is.

Who could they get better at this point? Kaepernick might legit be their best option. This team is back to being a shit show.

I’m sure Baker can afford to take a year off.

They should've known before they went on the visit that he wasn't going to go to a cold city anyway ('cept maybe NY).  It was all a waste of time and effort...and of course pissed Baker off in the process...which is ok if you were gonna get the guy...but they had no chance.

well, jimma haslam is now an asswhole, because that was an asswhole attempt to find a qb.

He needs to sell the team or go watch the team from a distance. Like, Siberia.

with no phone, no internet. Just a shack out in the wilderness/frozen tundra so he can't

    do any more damage.

    dammit.

That would be amazing just to see a portion of the board burn down

The Browns signing Kaepernick, and then Kaepernick taking the Browns to and winning their first Super Bowl would be the absolute Browns-est thing ever. ?

Now they need to see if they can get Jimmy G.

to my eyes - in the playoffs, it looked like the 49rs won in spite of Jimmy G, not because of him.   I'm not sure he's that big of an upgrade.

  • @canton-dawg said:

    Isn’t that the ultimate metric?

No because that would mean Nick Foles and Flacco are better than Marino Jim Kelly...and as explained that means Lamar Jackson is much better than Baker. You eblieve those things?

if Superbowl wins are the ultimate metric, then Eli is as good as Peyton.   Maybe better because he has two Superbowl wins and no Superbowl losses....

Jimmy G would be the best of the FA available, but that’s like saying Moe was the smartest of the 3 Stooges.

He was paid $25.5 million last year if I recall.

Not really. Look at Matt Stafford. Football is really a team game.

Some of these idiots want to sel stop servicing the car so they can afford to buy a solid gold hood ornament.

just a loose thought - It's been reported that Deshawn Watson had no interest in the Browns.   Zero.

    so his visit was

    1. being professional and seeing if the Brown's front office could "wow" him

    or

    2. Visiting just to stir the pot / cause a shit storm with fall out

    3. Help him in his quest to land at a more preferred location.

    I'm going with 2 or 3

From what I’ve been reading, it sounds as if Carolina and Seattle are the 2 the most eligible suitors for DW.
