Myles Garrett WINS Another Defensive Player of the Year Award in 2025...

I have been an advocate of a Browns rebuild, and opposed to what looks like the current maintaining of the status quo. Myles is the greatest asset we have. Keeping him while getting ever closer to his inevitable decline locks the Browns deeper into that status quo.
The offer to let him go would need to be otherworldly, and it is uncertain we would get that. But if otherworldly is on the table, I would jump at the chance.
I'm on record that this team is being built for Brookpark, which opens in four seasons.
You have to wonder how much gas would be in Myles' tank at that point.
If someone offered Berry a Godfather offer, he'd be an idiot not to listen.

The new stadium is not really on my radar, as someone living outside of OH, or the US for that matter, so hadn't considered that. Hope you are right, which would mean at least some strategy is in place. As opposed to Jimmah going 'attaboy' and 'keep doing what you are doing' to Berry & Co, which haunts me in my nightmares.

And when I say they are building for Brookpark, I mean they are trying to build/rebuild the team so they are entering a playoff window at the end of the current stadium so they enter Brookpark as a legit contender. That's why I can't see them taking Simpson this season when next year's draft looks like a possible QB bonanza, including Jimmy's wet dream of Manning. In their hopes and dreams, they draft a QB high in '27, he's established as a playoff-caliber guy in '28, they start rolling in Brookpark in '29.
One problem with trading Myles is he can veto any trades, so he'd have to go to a legit contender. All the sudden the three hypothetical first round picks don't look as amazing when they are all in the 20s.
