  • not the best week for baker to get back on track.  the chargers have i think the best pass D in the NFL. they have faced really really good offenses DAL, KC, LAR  they only gave up 237 to Dak with 1 int,  260 to mahomes with 2 int and 196 and 1nt for Carr.

if baker can get 150 and no INT with the browns running game maybe they can squeak out a close game with how the D has been playing.

The other two issues  - Bakers shoulder and the west coast.  A place the Brownies haven't historically played very well at.

Chargers have one less day to prepare than we do. They also have a bye week this coming weekend. Tough team to beat in LA. They seem to have created a good fan base there already based on the noise I was hearing (and I lost a lot of that in service?).

EDIT: And Bosa is everything all the OSU homers say he is. Have to come up with a workable plan for minimizing his impact.

Bosa, baby bosa AND chase young are what we Buckeyes said they would be - absolute tacticians.   Larry Johnson is one of the very best in the business.

  • It was a one sided affair all game. The Chargers had control on offense and defense and stopped the Raiders from having any progress. Basicly the Raiders got their butts beat. We need to look at this game and make sure they dont do that to us . It's going to be loud as the Chargers fans will be in full yelling mood after the MNF beat down of the Raiders.

The Chargers are the only team in the NFL that do not have a home field advantage.  They are at the bottom of the list when it comes to Professional and College sports  (Throw USC and UCLA over them) and I’d include other weekend priorities over them like enjoying the weather at the beach.  I fully expect a ton of Orange and Brown at the game.

  • The wide bodied large catch radius WRs/TEs coupled with excellent ball placement from their QB is a concern.

Apparently you did not watch the game last night. They had a definite home field advantage. Raiders could not hear themselves thinking.

It was 50/50 and the Broadcasters noted the Raider fans throughout pregame.  Bunch of drunk Raiders fans too that don’t understand the game.

The biggest inconvenience will be the 5 hour plane ride and time change.

Did you watch the Chargers/Cowboys game?  I thought it was AT&T West.

I watched parts of it, but I took my grandson to play racquetball for about an hour. They had a 22 point lead they were trying to give away when we got back.

    PS-Well it is AT&T stadium.

EDIT: That was Sunday's game game. I did not see the Cowboys vs Chargers.

It's a damn shame they left San Diego.  I used to go to their games when I was stationed there.  They were my second team after the Browns.

It is but the Owner screwed that up thinking he would give 0 and City would foot the bill for a new stadium. The voters in San Diego Proper would never pass a stadium.  North County San Diego might have been different story, but land and development up there is different.  And the Current Mayor could care less bringing in a team here

The Q is gone by the way…San Diego State U. Bought the land and they are in the middle of building an appropriate sized stadium for the Aztecs that looks like a potential landing spot for an MLS team too.  It will be finished this coming Summer.

The Charger tailgates were fun smell of Tequilla and TriTip.  The last time the Browns were there 2015…we represented really well.

You apparently weren't watching closely enough Tex. Not only did the announcers comment,  but any time they put the cameras on the crowd it was obvious that the Silver & Black had a massive presence in the stands. (Like about 50-50 Raiders/Chargers fans)

Too bad Spanos wanted a new stadium gift wrapped for him in San Diego, that he was never going to get without putting up some of his own money.  Mark O, who was living in SD at the time kept us abreast of the situation. So he gets to be second fiddle to the Rams in the latest and greatest NFL pleasure palace. LA fans probably will come out for a few seasons to check out the new digs, but start losing - ghost town. I haven't forgotten the  Chargers had to play in a 20,000 seat soccer stadium until So-Fy was completed.

Two things worth mentioning.  It never rains in Southern California? They had a 30 minute lightning delay before the game started. Inside a dome. REALLY? Second, don't know if it's still true, but the Southern California  Browns Backers are the largest Backers' Club in the world, thousands strong.  I fully expect a significant contingent of Browns fans at the stadium Sunday.
