There's left and right and then there are the far out on both sides.  -so-   when you hear, read, see something just consider the source when you evaluate it.  That's all.

And Mr Beck et. al. is certainly a right winger.

Like my one boss used to say   " he might be a good father and husband but......".    You can fill out the rest.   😉

It's always a good idea to consider the source but it's a bad idea to assume out of hand that everything that the people that disagree with you say is a lie. The angle being presented on a story maybe left or right but it doesn't mean the story is false.

And just for the record resistance to tyranny or mandates or whatever, it's not necessarily a right-wing idea. I would venture a guess that most dictatorships are also as far as left as you can get. Communism / socialism is a big seller for tyrants.

Yes that's why you want to listen to both sides before judging anything..... that's how a democracy works, or should work.

Too bad our country is so bittely divided about almost everything,  especially over the last 5+ years.  More than in my 71 years here.

Historians will eventually tell us what was true and what were just big lies.  😉

Starting with the January 6th attack on our Capitol.  The video and personal testimonials are undeniable.  Well others are sorting that out...... this is a Dr Fauci thread.

Dr. Fauci brought it up. It's still bulshit but he did.

Maybe 71 years have dulled your memory to the point you can't remember Jack Kennedy Richard Nixon the Vietnam War the race riots and other times of division.

And if 75% and that's a generous estimate, of the mainstream media is liberal then you have to look at more than a couple of conservative sites. But apparently everybody most certainly including you just wants to read the ones that agree with them. So there's that.

I absolutely remember JFK and Nam I was in the first 19 year old draft......go to the high school forum for details...... but the sides weren't nasty and vicious like now.

I also was very politically active in the 80s several of my relatives were in elective offices and really follow it now it's terrible.

Now I'm going to watch football ? also something I'm passionate about.   Catch you later.

Any video of them ?  Audio ?  Internet tracking ?  Others talking about them under oath ?  Anything ?   Would be nice to have that.

Everyone has seen countless hours of thugs breaking glass with flagpoles, hammers, etc.? and destroying beautiful public property  a set up ?  Really ?

Bear spraying officers ?   Weak if any case like trump's 0-60 legal charade which was so embarrassing.

What a terrible event promoted, organized by, paid for by  ______.  _______.  and his friends.  Oh well.

Pretty damn good.  😆.      Now by right I assume you mean correct, right ?

Actually it was a horrific thing for our country and democracy.   Historians will bear all of this out, hopefully our democracy will live long into the future.

Yes discussing politics can be a pretty mucky thing now.

I'd rather talk about sports or maybe food ?  Yeah food I'm all in there.   Hmmmm mushrooms.....

(here is one of my favorite mushroom dishes ;) edit add....oh NJ is my wife, a great scratch cook )

NJ's TRI-MUSHROOM BORDELAISE for steaks and chops or as a side dish, serves 4

    In a one quart sausepan:
    2 Tbsp butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp flour
Cook together in saucepan stirring often until lightly browned ........ you're basically making a rue.  I like mine a bit thicker almost a heavy soup as a side dish.  Some like it thinner like the base recipe here.   We modeled this tri-mushroom dish after an old steakhouse recipe from years ago. Great over thick mashed potatoes too !   Bon appetit.

    Dry ingredients:
1 1/2 Tbsp minced onions or shallots
    1 Tbsp minced dry pasrley
    1 Bay leaf
    1/4 tsp thyme crushed
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp ground pepper

Add dry ingredients to the butter and flour
    Then slowly stir in:
    10 1/2 oz. Beef broth
    3/4 cup good red wine

Increase heat to medium high; cook stirring constantly until thick; remove Bay leaf

Add sauce to mushrooms that have been sautéed in butter; add snipped Parsley to garnish
1 cup Portabella mushrooms (a very large, rich-flavored cremini mushroom, often grilled, broiled, or sautéed)
1 cup Button mushrooms (a young unopened white mushroom)
1 cup Shiitake mushrooms (a large, meaty, black or dark brown mushroom)

*edit - adding a crushed clove of garlic to dry ingredients is optional....and also pretty good

    Interesting point of view.
