  • "Repugnant is a creature who would squander the ability to lift an eye to heaven, conscious of his fleeting time here"

  • I'ma outer space balla, put you up on astronomy

Mathematically with a pistol I do trigonometry

  • Bust it, I let the beat commence so I can beat the sense in your elite defense

I got some meat to mince, a crew to stomp and then two feet to rinse

I greet the gents and ladies, I spoil loyal fans

I foil plans and leave fluids leaking like oil pans

My coiled hands around this microphone are lethal

One thought in my cerebral is deeper then a Jeep full of people

MC's are feeble, I came to cause some pandemonium

Battle a band of phony MC's and stand the lonely one

Imitator, Intimidator, Stimulator, Simulator of data, Eliminator

There's never been a greater since the burial of Jesus

Fuck around and catch all of the venereal diseases

My thesis will smash a stereo to pieces

My accapella releases plastic masterpieces through telekinesis

That eases you mentally, gently, sentimentally, instrumentally

With entity, dementedly meant to be Infinite

  • "Dang me, dang me, they oughta get a rope and hang me. High from the highest tree..................."?

  • In 1977 I turned 30 when this song came out. Considering that I had been a skydiver, a motorcycle rider and a soldier in Vietnam, somehow the song just fit me at that time in my life. Some days it still fits and I just smile to think about it.  Everything past 30 has been icing on the cake for a risk taker like me. Ironically he died at age 62 of a misdiagnosed pulmonary embolism.

From Charlie Rich's  Rollin' With The Flow: "Once was a thought inside my head, 'fore I reached 30 I'd be dead. But somehow on and on I go. I keep on rollin' with the flow."

  • far away across the field the tolling of the iron bell calls the faithful to their knees to here the softly spoken magic spells

  • Don Henley heart of the matter how can love survive in such a graceless age. May have been written by Bruce Hornsby.

"How can love survive in such a graceless age."

  • And another great set of lyrics from Steve forbert.

    "You've traveled so far
    The wind in your face
    You're thinking you've found
    The one special place
    Where all your dreams
    Will walk out in line
    And follow the course
    You've made in your mind

Hey, it isn't gonna be that way
It isn't gonna be, that way"

  • “So make up your own ending and let me know just how you feel”.

    Blurry - Puddle of Mudd

  • Went to God's country the first time around age 26 or 27.  So..................................................... John Denver's Rocky Mountain High.

He was born in the summer of his 27th year
Comin' home to a place he’d never been before
He left yesterday behind him, you might say he was born again
You might say he found a key for every door

Now he walks in quiet solitude the forests and the streams
Seeking grace in every step he takes
His sight has turned inside himself to try and understand
The serenity of a clear blue mountain lake

And I've been hiking those mountains every year since that time. Going back next month to my brother's place in Estes Park.
