According to a new report, Ward dodged any significant foot injury and should be ready for training camp:

An MRI and X-ray on the left foot which Ward injured during Thursday’s practice inside First Energy Stadium showed no structural damage, a league source confirmed to the Beacon Journal. He is expected to be available once training camp starts July 27.

The good news continued with Williams’ injury:

Greedy Williams spent much of the three days working with a trainer off to the side as he recovers from what is, per reports, a sprained ankle that also isn’t expected to be a long-term issue.

Just what is it with the Browns and constantly injured DBs? Snakebit for sure.

Haslam is running this team like he still has a share in the Pittsburgh Steelers

Important to understand overall NFL injury rates by position

DB's [barely] at the top of expectation of injuries by position - slightly higher than LB's to have a player expected to be out for 1-4 games.

Denzel Ward

Greedy Williams -- note that his only injury so far as a professional is the shoulder; nothing foot/ankle/leg related.

I propose the real question should be what a player's expected injury rate is.. and that number is zero only for QB/punter/kicker and maybe OL.

They're not snakebit if they experience a normal amount of injuries over the course of a season..

I'm sure putting a basketball hoop on the field will help stop rolled ankles...

Is that good football training protocol,  hoops as workout or downtime activity  ?

Maybe some motorcycle training to go along with it.   Oh brother.   Yeah remember what's his name KW with the parking lot motorcycle stunts.  I wonder what he's up to now ?

Hey the BROWNS need some good luck now.

KW II extremely talented. -but-  a total idiot.  I actually feel sorry for his dad, what a disappointment.

Easy like Sunday Morning ?

Now just 10 days away from the 2022 Browns Training Camp gates opening..  Oh My ??.. What a off-season it has been !

A few off season Updates as of this July 17th..

#1.) QB Deshaun Watson's playing status in 2022?

2.) The Browns roster sits at 87 players, of a possible 90 players as of today    https://www.clevelandbrowns.com/team/players-roster/

3.) Yes/ Perrion Winfrey, still remains the last browns 2022 draftee to sign his rookie deal.. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/draft/ he's far from the only..

4.) What a transaction action off season it has been... Strolling down to the unsigned FA's?  https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/ Teams should still see some talent they could add...

5.) Last in news updates..

While Andrew Berry became the hated contract cap GM target head ?.. Overall, he's paid D. Watson only behind... P.Mahomes & Josh Allen.. and par four the course..still leads all teams in cap space available,,, by a somewhat wide margin https://overthecap.com/salary-cap-space

ending with my fan side note.. I'm nowhere near projecting what record or what to expect from this Browns football season ?... and that's new in my Browns fandom..

Go Browns !

[tiamat63]

Good a place as any to ask...

Help your boy Tiamat get to Browns camp this year!  I've been pretty damn busy and completely missed out on my chance to snag a couple tickets before they were all taken.  If you or anyone you know are looking to get rid of theirs, especially those early camp season, mid week ticket (Tue, Wed, Thurs) type one's...   please send me a PM.

Would go a long way to getting a 2022 Camp Thread, something I haven't been able to do in a few years sadly.

 Appreciate it.

How can you?  We don't even know who will be playing the most important position on the team.

I wish they'd hurry up and announce what they're doing to Watson.  They're really hamstringing the team by keeping them in limbo all this time.  Especially if they kick him out for the year.  We could've had a playbook in somebody's hands already.

The playbook has been in Jacoby Brissett's hands since the day he officially became a Cleveland Brown.

For good or bad, we're rolling with him if Watson isn't available either from suspension, injury, or other.
