The rights were sold to Colt which started marketing them to civilians and law enforcement. It is and always will be an assault rifle. Changing the select fire feature doesn't make it any less deadly.

Back to AR-15s and Uvalde for a second. Any of you watch the special on the police response in Uvalde last night? After watching about 10 minutes of footage inside the school and on police body cams, I was so sick of watching absolute cowardice on the part of the so called police that I went outside in our 100 degree heat to cool off while I watered the grass. Thank God nobody I was around in a combat zone ever showed such a lack of courage as those guys did against a lone gunman with an AR-15. They should all be fired immediately. Unfuckingbelievable.?
