? Official Preseason Game Thread: Browns at Jaguars.

? And so the 2022 season begins.
7pm, tonight.
..... edit, had to jazz the preseason game 1 up a bit. (that drove me crazy all day)

And back to the past we go. A season starting up with question mark(s) at the QB position. Obviously not something that us Browns fans aren't familiar with.

Not so much.
We know who the long term starting QB option is, the only question is when will he be back.
We know who the starter is walking into the season. The only question is how many quality snaps can we get Jacoby between tonight and week 1?
This isn't Couch - Holcomb, Anderson - Quinn, Hoyer - Manziel type saga.

I still might stick with the Browns board nickname for the Jacksonville team:
The Faguars.
Is that in poor taste?

Well I'm back from dinner and settling in for a relaxing evening. If anyone wants to join, please don't forget we have a TBB discord.
I'll be in there for the game, because it's sure as hell easier to talk than it is to type.

one would think there is a stream out thereto be able to watch the game live
side note the nfl and nflpa are still in talks and a decision will not come down until next week

12 midnight on the NFL network Pacific Coast time.
3AM Eastern NFLN... As of now we're not getting OTA here in Dayton, of course- the funky Bungles game is on, same time...
Probably around 7AM for our British friends...

HOU built a lot of their early down work off that split zone RPO from the gun.
Wonder if we see the same?
-
Harris down. Not good
-
Boos for Watson.
1st play, Schwartz open, Watson missed him.
2nd play, Watson puts it in Schwartz's hands and he drops it. And Nick Harris is face down on the grass.
-
Need to shake off that rust.
Schwartz though... it's why I hate drafting receivers with high drop %
edit: Want to see how this IDL holds up though.

-
Phillips calling the defense.

I have a very bad feeling this is going to be painful, even for a preseason game.
