  • Sorry, but I lost interest in Cleveland baseball when the Dolan's caved and changed the Indians name. I can't support a "woke" ownership.

"Woke" is way worse than treason, racism, pathological lying, ect...

  • Maybe curses are real.

The Indians are kicking ass the very year they changed their name. Curse broken.

The Browns were cursed when Modell fired Paul Brown. The Browns shoulda forced Modell take the name colors and curse with him to Baltimore, and the new franchise in Cleveland be given a new start with a new name.

The Cavs have no curse attached to them, and lo and behold they win a title for our great city.

They made the playoffs,  have 3 walk off wins, and you're still calling them the Indians.

  • I'll post my goofy opinion over here, too:

I might watch this game live. Only because I'm wearing a big grey boot - broken toe. dammit.

Obviously to all, buttichek knows that Chubb is awesome and he'll work on stopxx, I mean, limiting him to as few yards near 90-100 as possible.

I think this game comes down to Devin McCourty, Kyle Duggar, and Jabril Peppers - if they can frustrate Brissett and nab some interceptions etc, that could be the way they win.

For the pats, if mac jones and damien harris, rb, can't go - Zappe can flat out play, too -

and at rb, Rhomondre Stevenson (?) is a serious big bruiser.

In a game of chess, the Browns may end up playing checkers and buttichek may look "brilliant" again.

    Should be pretty interesting.

How about that GUARDINDIANS WIN LAST NIGHT EH ????? WOW !

My bad. Steph is very, very bad at checkers, too.

I mean, seriously, folks. Bissett is 6'4" and they can't get a qb sneak on 4th and 1? Passes batted down? Ain't just Baker.......something else is wrong. I believe Step has risen to the level of his incompetence, and beyond. Zappe - over 300 yards and two TD's, no ints.

Treason is a crime punishable by death. Being woke isn’t even a crime.
While being woke is hurting this country and it is getting out of hand. You can’t be sentenced to death for it

  • Totally shitty coaching,  through and through absolutely terrible coaching.

    Preparation terrible

    In game decisions terrible

    Personal decisions terrible

    Kevin needs to be GONE

At least the INT comes early this game

There were plenty more after the first one.  Not just Jacoby stunk.... That was an utter failure in all three phases.. Offense, defense, and special teams. Throw in bad coaching too...  Going for two and fail? Thanks for keeping it a two score game Kev.  🙁

It's only the third time in attending probably 100+ Browns game I've ever walked out early. I only hope that total stink job by the Cleveland Clowns- er Browns has washed the bad karma out into the lake in time for the Guardians playoff game tonight.

Yeah, time to rack up- with a little lyric change of a Guns n Roses tune.... Welcome to the basement...

Nah, I agree with going for 2 right then and there.  That way you know where you stand...and MAYBE can do something about it.  If you wait until the end of the game then it's too late if you don't convert...you can't do anything about it then.

  • The scary part is coach just keeps making the same mistakes over and over again . . .

Big Kev still refusing to take the 3 points early in games, still running empty backfield sets and having Chubb chill on the sidelines for half the game, still pretending Brisket is Watson, terrible clock management at the end of halves and games, still hasn’t fired Joe woods. Stop doing the same shit and expecting different results . . . Maybe I’m the dummie who keeps driving to the stadium expecting to one day see more W’s than L’s

That's fair, but I would've kicked it. I want to keep the momentum and the belief from my team as long as I can, and no amount of Madden Football anal lick ticks can account for human emotion.

  • I had us 3-8 at Watson's debut, but with the upcoming schedule I may have been a bit too optimistic.

JB throwing INTs should distract us from a 4th round rookie QB absolutely tearing our secondary a new one. Woods needs to go!

I don't know whether to laugh or cry at that one; but spot on!

  • Let's see what Josh Dobbs brings to the table. Then when he's terrible, in 3 weeks we can go back to Brissett.  And some short number of weeks after that, DW will be ready.  Feel the excitement.

  • 24-34 309 yards 2 tds 118.4

Did we play against Joe Montana today?

  • Agree with most on Stef..

Stef needs to pass his play call card to Van Pelt.. but, who puts their HC'ing job on the line with someone else doing the only thing (he) thinks he knows?

Come to think of it ?

I've never seen him use a blue video tablet to coach anything..

btw, What's former HC/DC friend of Stef, Mike Zimmer doing? A swift kick in the as$ might be what this defense deserves..

  • Not even November and the game thread isn't even five full pages.

    Good times.

At least there is completely unrelated to the topic idiotic "woke" comments, though, to really add flavor to what is a dumpster fire of a season.

I think most of us knew that the season was an uphill battle when Watson's suspension went from 6 games to 11, and once we went 2-3 through the easy part of the schedule their suspicions were confirmed.

I missed two games completely (Carolina and Atlanta) and will miss another Browns game in November. I hung out with friends in Erie, PA Saturday and didn't get back home until 3 today (I did watch it when I got home) but there was no urgency for me to get home today by gametime. I probably would go a decade before I'd miss three Browns games, but honestly, I'm not losing sleep over it.

The way they have played defense all year, not sure Watson would make that much of a difference in the W-L record. Maybe 1 game

But the defense has given up the 2nd most points in the league

Absolutely. The Browns are scoring about 25 points a game with his backup.

The defense has been a complete disappointment
