Why did Stefanski NOT call a time out before the punt?  We just lost 30 seconds or so.  We have 3 timeouts.

These things don't matter when you win by 2-3 scores.  When you lose by a field goal, well that's another matter.

I think it all goes back to him being so immersed in the playbook , some guys can do both roles, he can’t.

YES,  he seems to be frozen in time at exactly the wrong moments  ..... like the end of quarters or worse the end of the game, in the last seconds.

Good or great coaches just seem to pull out a fantastic  play at exactly the right time.    Stef just hasn't impressed me at all this year..... but that's just me.

I’m wondering if calling plays is taking too much of his attention.

He really needs to let the OC call the plays, so he can be the HC.

This is starting to bring back memories of Marty Schottenheimer.

                Except, Marty had more success.

Marty was a really good coach and person ..... who yes never won the big one.   I'd take Marty over Stef anytime.
