    AND. coming up soon ........

New York Attorney General Letitia James has indicated the jury's findings could have bearing on a civil case being pursued by her office. Her office conducted a parallel civil investigation and assigned two prosecutors to work on the Manhattan District Attorney's probe. While the criminal case is tightly focused on executive compensation, the civil case — filed in September — accuses the company, Trump and three of his children of a widespread, yearslong effort to commit fraud and manipulate property valuation

The company and the Trumps deny all allegations in that case, which is scheduled to go to trial in October 2023.

Especially since he's never been reelected.   Trump won the  only  political race in his whole life.  Lost reelection even after running it through the courts what was he 1-61 ?  Laughed out of every courthouse in America.     😆

I think his run of bs and lies might just about be over ...... but I'll wait on that final call.   His October 2023 court case might just bury him.

Maybe he can do an Apprentice show from prison.   😆

Don't you read your own post?

It states that Trump wasn't charged with anything.

Such as the case with our beloved Browns owner Mr. Haslam, Trump was unaware of the dealings that took place under him.

Only $1.6 million in fines?   Thats chump change, or shall we say "Trump change".  Must not be as sensational a story as you're making it out to be.

Oh I'm quite aware of the details of this 17 count guilty on his company  as they released so far.  Some of Trump’s key people pled guilty and we see where that goes.   Trump and his current lawyers realize the trouble they're in so far.

And his upcoming October 2023 trial has  their attention now  despite other ongoing tax and other problems.

I really don't understand why people are cheering this on. If he runs in 2024, he gives the Democrats a better chance of winning. I, for one, would be grateful if this took him out of the running, because his ego is clearly too big to call his own number. I'm all in on DeSantis.

Unfortunately that is true,  presidential politics (even state races) in the past few elections have turned into a nasty mud slinging event.  Hopefully some civility will return on both sides soon.  We just need some good Republicans  vs Democrats  elections and ten shake hands and go about running the country's business  not  what this has evolved intolately.

The internet and outside influences have changed the way things have gone.   Hopefully. the 2024 races will be better  ..... hopefully.  SO peace everyone !   😁

Probably. Of course it's a Witch Hunt and there is no corporation that size in the world that could withstand this kind of persecution. I would venture to say not one member of this board. The weaponization of the tax code should be frightening to anybody but of course it sounds great if you're single focus is Trump hatred.

                          OH WOW!

I suppose the potential is there for career businessmen, don't ya think?

Former presidents were career politicians, not career businessmen, and if the left ever decided not to look the other way, Biden would be in more hot water than any previous president as well.

I bet if the powers that be dug deep enough within big business, they would uncover some sort of wrongdoing enough to levy a paltry $1.6 million in fines.

                          Answer this question.

Had Trump never had interest in politics, therefore never becoming president, do you believe these investigations would be taking place?

Anyone with half a brain should be able to concur by now that this 6 year effort to delegitimize or criminalize Trump for none other than the purpose of getting rid of him.

I really don't understand why people are cheering this on. If he runs in 2024, he gives the Democrats a better chance of winning. I, for one, would be grateful if this took him out of the running, because his ego is clearly too big to call his own number. I'm all in on DeSantis.

That would be the only way to prevent a win. You guys know it as well as I do there's going to be a handful of rinos and  that will split the vote equally amongst themselves.

And his upcoming October 2023 trial has  their attention now  despite other ongoing tax and other problems.

Trump is in hot water that  NO  previous former president has ever been in before.   That may or maybe will be his lasting legacy.    We'll see  ......

Correct. But were not those "crimes" committed before serving as a public servant that is the presidency.?  While on your time and mine.

What he did prior to becoming president is of no concern. He did one hell of a job in doing what he was elected to do...to which you will never admit to only because the guy rubs you the wrong way.

His alleged shady business dealings prior to becoming president are irrelevant. What you people on the left are trying to do is make it relevant for obvious reasons.

You have no comment on Bidens shady business dealings coverup...him being involved in corruption while acting as a public servant?

And it becomes Tit for Tat, this is what the Dems started and will probably continue into the future.

Their vile hate for the Bad Orange Man took precedence over running the country.
