I don't know about you guys but I just started checking around the facts about this NFL HOF Game almost some 3½ months away and then things started moving ..... rather quickly. I've always known what passionate fans that our BROWNS FANS could be but for a preseason game ? WOW !

I figured that the game might/would sell out but i couldn't get any single tickets on April 25 ..... nothing, period. It looks like a fun NFL HOF Weekend coming ahead for all of us.

Whats better than a thread for a preseason game four months from now?

TWO threads for a preseason game four months from now! ?

I thought that I was getting a (too early? ) jump on things in chats with Steve and then this thing was on 100% Cleveland BROWNS Fan speed right under me. I never got caught up until about 2 am this morning. I just got back on now, and I'll be gone all afternoon Wednesday to get a grip on things.

From what I know (so far) is that Joe Thomas has control (?) of some single ticket in a block. Also some of the Jets' guys are doing the same. SEE YOU ALL LATER TODAY ! GO BROWNS !

I am working on a few more ideas to be ready in time for the NFL HOF Weekend festivities.

~ AND ~ Stay tuned for other tailgating, parties and and other activities in time for the upcoming 2023 NFL football season.

Did you know ? These two teams together have only been in 7 NFL HOF Games and only won 3, but one will add to that list in 2023.

Cleveland Browns in the Hall of Fame Game

Here's a look at the scores from each of the five appearances by the Browns in the Hall of Fame Game:

Sept. 8, 1963 - Lost 16-7 to Pittsburgh
Aug. 5, 1967 - Lost 28-13 to Philadelphia Eagles
Aug. 1, 1981 - Won 24-10 over Atlanta
Aug. 4, 1990 - Lost 13-0 to Chicago
Aug. 9, 1999 - Won 20-17 over Dallas in overtime

New York Jets in the Hall of Fame Game

Here's a look at the scores from each of the two appearances by the Jets in the Hall of Fame Game:

July 30, 1977 - Lost 20-6 to Chicago
Aug. 1, 1992 - Won 41-14 over Philadelphia

︎ Does anyone still recognize the original NFL HOF footprint ? And Thomas Benson has really improved the original semi-run down high school look of the Canton properties.

Just curious, have any of you tried to get tickets for any of the venues ? Any luck there ?

Tomorrow is June 1st, just wondering how many of you BROWNS BOARD Members and Browns fans out there are planning on going to any of the 2023 HALL of FAME game or other activities this year. NEW YORK JETS vs Our CLEVELAND BROWNS.

It would be nice to share some pictures and other thoughts on the festivities on this big HOF game in our backyard. AND our guy JOE THOMAS will be inducted into the 2023 HALL of FAME.

SO, GO BROWNS ! Should be a fun summer coming up.

So I looked Zac Brown up on youtube and the first song was 'Chicken Fried', and as an admitted hater of almost everything country and/or western music, I actually really enjoy that song, I had no idea he sang it.

There isn't a chance in hell you'd catch me at a country concert, though. It's bad enough I live in the town that hosts Country Fest every year. (And literally as I write this waiting for the Guardians game to start a Bud Light commercial using 'Chicken Fried' is on )

Not my cup of tea, but ZBB is a decent group of musicians. Zac himself joined Foo Fighters for a cover of War Pigs and I will say, dude was pretty damn good.

That said, HoF weekend is my dad's birthday. I was looking at tickets for the game and then tour the hall itself, but I can't justify the price when I could get 2 decent rooms and 18 holes of golf at a nice course for the whole weekend at half the cost.

So for any of your Browns fans making it out there, have fun, be safe and make sure Joe Thomas gets the ovation he deserves.

Exactly…

I feel like I’m the last country music loving holdout.

You have a guy like Morgan Wallen flipping all these non country loving music folk to the dark side

Orion

Vince Gill is as close to country as I get. My daughter loves country music. She'll send me a short video of some country guy that she and boy friend are watching live...and I'll reply something like, Oh, he's got P90 pickups in his guitar.

Orion

Hey nickers, I've got a Seymour Duncan Phat Cat P90 on a UPS truck somewhere coming for the neck position of my Les Paul. I want the E & A strings more prominent when I start Gypsy by the Moody Blues.

Same here, I’m a dyed in the wool rock n roller and I have no idea who ZB is.

But to those who enjoy his music…carry on.
