I haven’t seen anything posted about this. The issue was soundly defeated. I was wonder what people thought about this?
As someone who doesn’t live in Ohio anymore, it didn’t really affect me, but if it would’ve passed, it would’ve set a very dangerous precedent IMOGood thing the people in Ohio saw it for what it was

Not really setting a precedent, as there are currently 11 states that require a 60% approval to change their state constitution.

And every county?
I didn’t research every county, but feel free to look into it.

So, I still have a few questions -
the commercial voting NO on issue one - how the hell does making it harder to change
our Constitution "take away our freedoms" ????
and how would it passing cut our Constitution in two with scissors?

And every county?

Well, that seemed to be the bigger sticking point for most

Myself included.
It should’ve been 60% of the counties.

Where did you get that number?
If you search the topic, this is what comes up
How many states require a supermajority to amend state constitution?
Of the 18 states that permit the state constitution to be amended through the initiative process, only one state requires all initiative constitutional amendments to be approved by a supermajority in all circumstances.

That would have made more sense at least

Here…plenty of reading on the subject.
