I think to make sure that it is a turnover, but maybe not to see if they were down?

Maybe one day we'll get a deflection interception where the ball stays in the air forever. Or maybe a fumble that rolls to us. Oh wait, that never happens.
We just need to understand that the bye week is next week and this game is a blip on the radar. Watson will be 100% healthy against 49's and we'll be 2-2. Not a terrible start. The only thing that matters in this game is staying healthy. Literally nothing else matters.
Stay healthy, get to the bye week. Those are my instructions.
