But the problem with rotator cuff injury/inflamation is that it flares up so easily on a regular basis until full recovery. That often takes months and is unpredictable for someone who has to use that shoulder daily to be good at that position. I'm with Dutch on this one. No MD worth his salt would try to guarantee enough recovery to compete at the NFL level for the remainder of the season. Sign one of the FAs available for insurance purposes or write off the best shot the Browns have had in years.

I had a partial tear in mine….wrestling injury.  When I gave it time to heal postseason (2 months no activity) I had a moments where it felt great…and then I’d throw something or put a milk jug in the fridge and it felt like a knife going in through the top of my shoulder.

any workout I did I had extra strength Tylenol…and it felt great…then felt awful after it wore off for a good six months.  One of the most frustrating injuries…but my pain threshold is high and the Tylenol masked the pain when I didn’t want to feel the pain.

I don’t know if  he can suck it up this year…he may have to….jobs are on the line.

I’m not trying to be Al Bundy…at 43 hell no.

This was 23 years ago as a collegiate wrestler

It is a pesky frustrating injury that requires rest…pain meds and a high tolerance for pain.

great sport. Weight cutting was little excessive for those that wanted that.

It is football and wrestling or both growing up in Ohio.  Nowadays you get these dumb @ss HS football coaches that want potential wrestlers to weight train and skip wrestling. Stupid.

Watsons 1st half outside of a fluke pass sucked ass.    Slight improvement in the 2nd half...one nice pass to cooper.

Basically not good value.  His contract will cause us to lose cooper.

Edited because Dutch Oven is a weird fuckin spell checking stalker loser.

I forget who said it's better to be lucky than good. Haslam is an idiot and overpaid for a mediocre player. That was bad luck. On the other side of the coin the pieces fell together like magic and we're boasting probably the best defense in the league. It's happened before and I've got no problem when I get Super Bowl in spite of the quarterback.

Fan favorite Josh Dobbs had the NFL feel good story of the week. He usually gets one win per team but with more fanfare this week.

First player to have 3 TDs back to back games for 2 different teams.

Defo a berry fuck up on losing dobbs for DTR and Walker, but if Watson is healthy the rest of the way it won’t matter.

No argument.  But I don't know if Watson's played enough games in a row to know how good he is / isn't.  He strung a few together and then played well against Tenn....until needlessly going head first instead of sliding (which he did again against the Cards.  And so now this week he's playing the Ravens defense with both starting Tackles out...and one of them was the backup to the actual starter who went on IR some time ago.  He'll probably get hurt again.

Of course it's possible. And when the Cleveland Browns win a Super Bowl and Watson goes into the Hall of Fame I will eat my words about Jimmy Haslam because he was the only guy in the league willing to give up that much. You think Watson would be in Cleveland if Atlanta New Orleans or Miami would have matched that offer? And just for the record having a good enough game once in awhile is it pretty poor return on that deal.

Nope.  He hates the winter weather up north.
