Years ago, we went for two weeks to Hawaii. We got to tour the base there- saw the bullet holes in the side of the cement buildings that had always been painted, but never fixed.
and being there at the Arizona Memorial was so deeply emotionally moving - it's really tough to describe. All those American military lives lost in a vicious surprise attack. It's a heartbreak.
