  • The Browns have had the magic this year but they still do stuff that drives you mad. Why is Dustin Hopkins chasing someone down on a kickoff? Why are they calling pass plays that almost gets DTR put on IR with a sizable lead late in the game? Why is ZaDarius Smith look like he is IR bound in garbage time? Why is there nobody else on the roster that can kick a ball off a tee? You would think that even a punter has kicked a ball off a tee at some point in his life.

doing his job trying to stop a td

he only came in with the rest of the starters, cause houston scored two quick td's

Was referring to when he was kicking off that he was squibbing the kicks. I mean, for real, this guy never kicked off a tee in his life? I'm just thinking back when Doug Flutie converted a drop kick for the Pats years ago and we don't have anyone who can do kickoffs besides Hopkins.

never really worried about a back up kicker before, But i get ya

    GO BROWNS  AND MERRY CHRISTMAS

  • Hopkins is five points away from tying Jim Brown for the most points scored (126) in a season.

Brown did it in 14 games in 1965, his last NFL season.

Poor Hudson is just a nightmare. He ran right by a guy for the tenth time today and almost got DTR killed on another play. Cmon bro, we need you.

    Still, what a damn game.

You DO understand he's not a 1st string or even 2nd string RT right?

Oh I do, but he was rough. Like, really rough. If you get a chance, watch that play DTR got folded. It was the second time I saw where Hudson totally mistimed his jab and hit air. Backups are going to struggle but yeeesh. It's odd to see because Hudson is an elite athlete. He moves SO well and is extremely agile, but his timing on anything out in space is so lacking.

But, like you said, he's a backup for a reason. If he could consistently pass and run block, he'd be a starter. At least he's healthy!

  • Our kicker got hurt because nobody tackled the guy he kicked off too.  🙁

    Great win for our Defense.

Great win for our Pass Offense.

Great win for Flacco,  Cooper,  Njoku.

After we lost to the Rams I said that we had to win the next 4 to get into the playoffs.   1  More!

----   And now we'll all have an even Merrier Christmas...now that we got our present!   🙂

The Jets game has trap written all over it. Short week, #7 ranked defense, and they know we will be missing one of our biggest weapons in Hopkins. Better hope it's not a game of field goals.

It might get really interesting this coming week !     GO BROWNS !

  • Joe Flacco made some seriously elite throws, I mean that sideline throw falling forward to cooper was nuts.

    Merry Christmas all!

? ?  Who could have imagined that if someone mention what "Joe Cool" was doing in the AFC North that they weren't talking about Joe Burrow? I'm glad Flacco is here, I just hope he stays healthy.

Week 16, but Game 15 for the Browns.   <--●  I was going to mention that  -plus- JB only played  12/14  games ..... he still has that with HIS 12,312.

As mentioned before this week, Cooper is 15 yards away from being the:

    1. First Browns player to ever have back-to-back 1000 yard seasons, and....

    2. First Browns WR to ever have two 1000 yard seasons.

RECORDS WILL FALL TODAY !    Well sorta'  but just win .... baby !       GO BROWNS !

  • Flacco to Cooper is pure DOPE! BABY!

  • I thought we were excellent and that was my first win. Most of the Texan fans disappeared before full time and the game finished in an almost empty stadium with the exception of our support. Went to pre match bash on Saturday night and met lots of Texas based backers and then met them all again at the tailgate on Sunday. Been surprised at how quiet down town Houston has been but the welcome and hospitality I've received has been bang on. I can highly recommend Birra Porretti and the pubs on main street to anyone who passes this way as I'm eating and drinking like a Lord. Was surprised that even the Texans fans that I talked to were good sports even after we'd given them a battering. I fly to Cleveland on Wednesday so I'll be in a pub near you lot soon. Merry Christmas everybody!

"When we play our brand of Football, nobody can play with us!"

That's not a mentality that was often heard in a Browns' locker room before. Things are changing. In a good way!
