Any opinions and ideas off you lot on New Orleans are welcome. Cheers.

I went to New Orleans back in 2001, years before Hurricane Katrina.

It was the coolest dumpy town ever. I know that sounds strange, but if you go, you'll understand. Highly recommend it just on the history and the food. A real fun town.

Always been a fan of Henry, But I am not worried about him any longer( zek elliot). Tennessee let him walk for a reason

But what makes him more dangerous is having a QB that opens up the inside lanes just because he is so fast going outside. Watch for new life for Henry this year.

I know what you mean, we do a daft lads weekend away every couple of years to Blackpool on the Lancashire coast. It's a run down shit hole apart from the sea front. Most of the pubs are shite anorl and we question ourselves as to why we keep going back. But we always have a great laugh regardless .

What a fucking trash article from DBN. Which is strangely the norm for them anymore.

Henry now has a good IOL in front of him and a QB centric running game that works to eliminate any numbers advantage a defense might throw at it.   If he stays healthy, it is absolutely a problem.

Indeed - thank you for pointing that out T!   Try to think back to Steve (Air) McNair and Eddie George teaming up for the Titans.  Talk about "Remember the Titans" - the ONLY team that could matchup with them was Baltimore.  They had a killer good IDL; ideal edge rush; Ray Lewis in the Middle; and Ed Reed as the leader of a great secondary.  Most of all?  They tackled extremely well.

The Rats are going to be a tough challenge for everyone.  There's ZERO margin of error if you want to beat them.  In addition to LJ and Henry - 1 guy that kills this team is their TE Mark Andrews.  BTW, his backup TE Isaiah Likely is very productive whenever he fills in.  Now they also have that little WR Zay Flowers equipped with elite change of direction that consistently gives him separation.  They usually line him up off the line of scrimmage in the slot, on the wing or as a flanker to prevent press coverage on him.

On paper, it sure looks like there's no bad choices for the guy calling plays there.  That said, there's always a lot of injuries in the AFC North that don't comply with convenience or a team's plans.

While I agree with your assessment... The Ravens are only as good as LJ's porcelain legs.. LJ isn't getting any younger... Tyler Huntley (Now with the Browns) was the closest thing to LJ they had in terms of athleticism... "Just the facts Ma'am".. As Harry Morgan would quip on Dragnet...

Porcelain  ?.  Yeah, he does have a tendency to get injured with that style of play; but that guy effortlessly outruns anyone/everyone.  Now I know why he refused to run the 40 yard dash before he was drafted. He prolly felt like nobody would have ever considered letting him play QB.

And he's no longer going to be the #1 focus of every defense that goes up against him.

Lamar Jackson gives opposing defensive coordinators sleepless nights (in the regular season, anyways) unlike a serviceable Ryan Tannehill.

Browns were ranked 11th vs the run last year

and how old is Henry again ? oh wait he is 30. how much milage on Henry ? since 2016 he has ran  the ball 2,030 times in his career 850 carriers in his last 3 years. haveing a better o-line you say.pfftt, he will be toast  by week 8

Given that yeah.. He's improved his throwing but his mechanics are still ugly. But then Bernie Kosar wasn't exactly the model standard at QB other than being a tall , gangly pocket passer who had pizza feet... I always thought they should use LJ like the 9er's use Deebo Samuel.. He has that kind of quickness and elusive ability with speed... Trying to tackle LJ is like trying to wrap your arms around a buttered noodle...

Yeah, very tough to tackle.  I remembered watching him a few times during the year he won the Heisman.  I didn't see him running a lot at all; and I dare say I was impressed with his passing (at least for the college level). When they weren't on television, most of his highlights were well thrown TD passes.

  • I predict that the Browns defeat Dallas in the first game of the season 34-0.??️??

EDIT: I'm not sure how I came to the conviction we could score 34. Just came to me yesterday somehow.?

  • Can you picture it fellas? Week 18, the Browns vs. the Ravens, both teams are both 13-3 and that game determines the AFC North champion and #1 seed for the playoffs.

    That wouldn't suck lol.

I had ESPN on, I cannot believe the odds makers have the Browns so low rated, as far as SB odds.

They have teams like the Falcons & Jets ahead of CLE. It's ok, fly under the radar. Woof

I would prefer we go under the radar. Whenever a Cleveland team gets major hype in the pre-season, it never seems to go well. Less hype, less pressure.
