Question just how much does a pro scout make ?   More than an insurance agent ?  How about a supporting p.d. guy .... is that really a paying job ?     Inquiring minds want to know.   😴    [ Someone else can do the other one.  🙄 ]

    ●~~~~~~~~~~●

Well I could't wait so  .....  aI did a little digging on the NFL pro scout  and was a bit surprised ......  🙁

Jackson's promotion to full time and adding Chris Polian to the FO feel like 2 of many positive moves made by the organization in that article.

I like these moves.. One thing about Cleveland and most of the players that have played here seem to become attached.. I think that is a beautiful thing

  • WOW !  At the end of  DJ's article there was no less than. 22. Scouts, Assistants and other  Ansillary and other misc. jobs with the  BROWNS.

And a brief summary of the people there  ....  NO SALARIES GIVEN.

    - SO -   22 people  x  say  a $40,000/ ave. per position (given, my guess too)  =  a   [ $880,000  payroll  ] +/-      for that  whole  group.   ●  Eh, > $1M I guess as a  supervisor  of player development  you could  expect   some decent returns from that group or  else !   Someone else moves up in that chair.

The  BROWNS  (like most NFL teams)  have a good player reputations.   And if you're a   -SPORTS CRAZY -  man or woman these would be  -FANTASTIC-   entry level jobs .... especially with your   -HOMETOWN-   team.      - GO BROWNS -     Oh yeah !

●~~~~~~~~~~●     [ NOTE :]      This topic can be a real   "can of worms"  once you open it.  I tried to keep it to a  minimum.      🙂

OK  the pays,  some variations here  depending on the  teams,  areas and  everything else as you could imagine.
