I've been in Fla since June 3rd 1973.. We've never had a state income tax thanks to tourism and bed taxes.
Property taxes however.... Middle of the pack at #24 while Ohio is at #41 Ours are a little over 4 times what this chart would suggest.

West Virginia has a slew of problems but I have liked not getting crushed on property taxes. Income taxes? Now that could be better. Wish we had no income tax.
