That's very nice of you to share your extensive experience losing to the hated rival since 2000.  Your team recently reached a milestone of 5 wins against the Buckeyes in that span.  Even more impressive, you have now won half as many National Championships since Y2K but we do have to count these little fellers: ********

    LAND HO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The WR Recruiting Capital of College Football just continues on with its proud tradition.  And this doesn't stink - the kid from New Jersey gets rewarded with a great lookin new jersey.

Meanwhile let's take a look at how the Asterisks up north are trying to recruit and reel in one of their top hopefuls:

Buckeyes add another RB in Isaiah West, from St. Joseph's in Philadelphia, the same high school Marvin Harrison Jr and Kyle McCord came from. West is considered the highest rated RB out of Pennsylvania (#14 overall RB in 2025 class), stoutly built at 5'11, 210lb.

With the two current starters - Treveon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins - most likely off to the NFL after the season, there's a very good chance that Ohio State will try and add a third RB to the class. Jordon Davison, from California, is still the name I keep hearing.

Ohio State added two more players for their 2025 recruiting class, with Columbus-area Offensive Lineman Jake Cook, from Westerville North High School, a three star center coming last weekend, and four star DE/Edge Zion Grady from Alabama. Grady was an Alabama commit last fall, but decommitted after Nick Saban retired. Ohio State beat out all the SEC powers for Grady, giving them another top 100 overall player for this class.

The 2025 Buckeyes recruiting class grew by two rather large young men, as Ohio State added two four star defensive tackles last week and today.

Trajon Odom, 6'4", 285lbs hails from North Carolina, and Maxwell Roy comes from Philadelphia's St. Joseph Prep School, home of Marvin Harrison Jr and fellow 2025 OSU recruit, RB Isaiah West.

Ohio State picked up its sixth defensive lineman in the 2025 recruiting class - all four star players - with tonight's announcement that Jarquez Carter, from Newberry, Florida has declared to the Buckeyes.

Archie Griffin is to dot the “i” in the Ohio State marching band’s performance of Script Ohio during halftime of the season-opening football game against Akron on Aug. 31.

The school announced the honor for Griffin, the Buckeyes’ legendary tailback who remains the only two-time Heisman Trophy winner, on Thursday. This year marks 50 years since he first captured college football’s most prestigious individual award.

He will join Woody Hayes and Earle Bruce as the only former Ohio State coaches or players to dot the “i,” a longstanding band tradition that began in 1936. Hayes did so in 1983, while Bruce followed in 2016. Other honorees have included comedian Bob Hope in 1978, golfer Jack Nicklaus in 2006, Sen. John and Annie Glenn in 2009, and marching band director emeritus Jon Woods in 2011.

More on Ohio State's dotted ‘i’: Photos: A look at who has dotted the ‘i’ for Script Ohio

Archie Griffin says it is an honor

“When you see someone outside of the band dotting the “i”, you know that it is extraordinary,” Griffin said in a statement. “That is how I look at it. It is a big-time tradition for our band, university, fans and everyone who knows Ohio State.

“To give someone who is not part of the band the opportunity, it must be something special.”

The band will also recognize Griffin during its pregame pep rally at St. John Arena about two and a half hours ahead of that day's 3:30 p.m. kickoff

Griffin, who ran for 5,177 yards and 26 touchdowns from 1972-75, remains the Buckeyes’ all-time leading rusher. He was named to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1986 and the university’s hall of fame in 1981.

A native of Columbus, Griffin spent two decades working as an administrator in the Buckeyes’ athletic department before he was named the president and CEO of the Ohio State University Alumni Association from 2004-15.

Brody Hyre, a member of the band, will dot the "i" during the performance of Script Ohio leading up to kickoff.

National college football media are finally waking up to the shitstorm that will be hitting Ann Arbor.

Absolutely nothing will happen to that fine football program in the state to Ohio's north.

    Woody told me so.

Sadly, he's right.  Nothing of consequence anyhow.. The NCAA is no longer a viable governing body..

Oh hey, more Michigan talk in the OSU thread... I'm sure that's a sign of something

    - Nothing has happened to Michigan yet and initial reports state nothing of consequence will

    - Moore recovered and provided the texts to investigators. Opposed to, you know, Meyer when he was protecting a wife beater.

Hey man, maybe this witch hunt will produce something. Then all of Day's work won't be wasted ?. Another off-season championship for THE Ohio State lol

He did though. We know he did. It's a fact, lol. You're just rewriting history.

And you're comparing lying to the NCAA to keep star players eligible to us giving a burger to a recruit and making contact with a recruit during COVID.... Lol.

Gotta love the desperate false equivalencies. An OSU staple.

    Can I just blame AI?
