A search by Fox News Digital revealed that Crooks would have turned 21 years old this September. He had no reported criminal or traffic citations and no reported bankruptcies, liens or foreclosures.
Crooks was a registered Republican, according to voting records, but he only participated in the Nov. 8, 2022, state election, due to his age. Records show that he made a $15 donation to Progressive Turnout Project, a Chicago-based political action committee that supports Democrat candidates for public office and claims to advocate for "key Democratic constituencies: young people, minorities and low-income people."

The FBI said it will continue its investigation into Crooks and any other information it can obtain.
"This remains an active and ongoing investigation, and anyone with information that may assist with the investigation is encouraged to submit photos or videos online at FBI.gov/butler or call 1-800-CALL-FBI," the statement continued.

Another thing that makes no sense. The shooter was 148 yards from the Podium, a clear view. People saw him climbing the building with a rifle. They yelled at the police. Why did this guy get so close? Why didn't the Secret Service see this guy? Why didn't the police stop the guy? These are legitimate questions that are being asked by all networks and personnel on the ground..

1. I will say this, surviving the assassination attempt, having the bloody face, and raising his fist in the air is a hell of a picture. It's pretty badass and that pic alone is going to win him votes.

I haven't watched any news since I saw this as it happened. I'm the only one on here saying I don't think it was staged or a hit by the other side, just a nut with a gun. Yet I'm the asshole. I know what her job was. I saw all the same shit. Yes, it was nothing more than a "joke". Right after an assassination attempt. Makes sense. Definitely not a jump to taking shots at things for political/ideological gain.
PepsiCo is fucking massive. Head of security there I'm sure is a very involved job.
