    Thanks for the information  PackerNation.

They've taken the once  ALL GAMES FREE  with an outdoor antenna into a greedy specialty PAY-TO-VIEW  for certain games.

The. NFL. wants a great image  -but-  looks the other way  ....  for the right price.

NOT  your father's  (or grandfather's)  NFL Sunday anymore.

Yeah, it sucks they make their loyal lifetime customers jump through hoops to access certain games.

Then they want to cater to the people of Brazil, Mexico, England, and Germany more than their U.S. fan base that made the NFL what it is today.

    Disgusting.

Well, even before the whole streaming service thing came to be, you did not get all the games for free. You had to have cable TV, and had to pay $100 a month or more to see all your teams games. And some still view the NFL with a cable box. If one does still view games with a cable box, some games that were once national, will not be available to you.

At least the NFL made sure to broadcast those games not available to everyone on a local channel in the local areas of the 2 teams playing in those games not available to all.

Bottom line, I agree the way things are is not ok. Less and less games are available to those that choose to not pay for every particular streaming service that the NFL chooses to make money off to broadcast their games.

My broader point, is that the NFL makes it easier to get ALL NFL games in Brazil, England, Germany & Mexico than it does for those in the U.S. They make them all accessable to them basically for free because they want to broaden the fan base of the NFL in those countries.

This all to me is totally unacceptable. The problem is, some of us will still watch our teams games no matter what. That is what they are counting on. But I totally understand those that no longer care about the NFL because they are sick of the NFL catering to only the establishment and the corporate elite. It's all about money obviously. Just like the illusion of a democracy in this country.

Yeah, I'm pretty much convinced I won't be able to afford my season tickets once the Browns build that new stadium. Here's hoping a Browns Super Bowl is coming before all that, but in 58 prior attempts it didn't happen ?. Oh well, I'll be pushing 70 by that time.

Worst thing about that new(proposed) Browns stadium is that it's going to be a dome. 2nd worst thing, is that it will be 20 mins from Cleveland in Brook Park.

Soon, Lambeau will be the only completely outdoor stadium in the NFL. They are trying to remove everything about the game that made it great & so popular. Football was always meant to be played in the elements.

Also, stadiums should not be allowed to be 20 minutes to a hour away from the home city of the team. I was at Levi's stadium for a Packers game a few years ago. It was a 55 minute drive from our hotel in San Fran to the game in Santa Clara. Ridiculous!

Yeah, I'm on the "leave it in downtown Cleveland" train, even though the proposed site is about 3 miles from where I live.

The Minnesota Vikings really haven't been relevant outside of maybe 10 seasons since they moved indoors. They were my NFC team growing up (sorry lol).

I get the other side of the argument, about having a pricey stadium and only having 10 games a year there. If domes are built, they should be retractable.

The Browns hosted the Saints a couple years ago, it was truly a rough day for being there with the wind & temps, but that's one game. I've sat in many games in the winter & had a great time, you just have to be prepared. Season tickets since '79.

Peacock has just gotten the streaming rights to Homicide: Life on the  Streets one of the best written, most innovative crime series in TV history based on a book by David Simon creator of The Wire. I signed up for that reason alone.

If we’re fluffing on Peacock l’ll add that they also have the show Psych, one of my most favorite shows ever, and the show Pokerface is pretty darn good too.

How do you wake up Lady Gaga?

It would be fine to have the game available on both Peacock and NBC affiliates in ALL markets.

NBC making and not losing money either way, they just want to increase the subs to Peacock. F them.

It's possible they may have to move the Packers vs. Eagles game back to the States.

Wildfires are raging near the stadium in Brazil. Air quality is at a very unhealthy level.

Possible things will improve by Friday, but if the game is moved it would be in Philadelphia. The Eagles were deemed the team to lose a home game on the trip to Brazil.

Stay tuned for updates on the game...

That's sad but even sadder is the NFL experimenting while trying to to make more dough.

Is it true neither team can wear green, due to gang violence down there?

It's looking like the game will not be moved. As long as the air quality in the area doesn't worsen by Friday, the game will be played in Brazil as scheduled.

No, the rumor of both teams not being able to wear green is not true. The Packers will be wearing their green jerseys. The Eagles are choosing to wear black helmets, white jerseys, and black pants, but not because they can't wear green. There were also rumors that fans of the Packers and Eagles can't wear green in the stadium because the Corinthians have a soccer archrival that wears green. Packers and Eagles fans can indeed wear green to the game.

The Packers are actually the most popular NFL team in Brazil.

    Browns -2.5

Dallas is using that as bulletin board material. Granted, the home team gets 3 points for being at home, so this is really a pick'em game, but Dallas feels slighted nonetheless.

Browns need to get this one. Get the season started on a positive note.

Dude, we lose opening games with experience and dignity and grace. I might be lying about the dignity and grace parts. But the experience part, we got some well tanned hinds there.

Any team we play the first game might as well have a 12 point advantage. We know what we’re up against.
