O.K so what some of you clowns need to ask yourself

The Browns Board

  • Has the team lost confidence in #4 ? or will they rally around him ?

    Long ways to go

  • well i guess he is hurt ?

Browns QB Deshaun Watson said with the adrenaline rushing, he’ll know how he feels tomorrow morning.

Well, the camera did show him on the bench moving his shoulder and then arm in such a manner as if to say, Does it still hurt if I do this?  Hey look, he's already lasted longer than I predicted.  I had him coming out of the halftime tunnel in the middle of the 3rd quarter wearing street clothes.

Fuck it shoot him up with  some drugs, earn your money

  • so he is nothing but a johnny ? WTF . I hope i am wrong

  • I'm pretty sure the "team losing confidence" in #4 would be more of a direct result of #4's first half stats being perfect:

0-of-7 on throws more than five yards downfield
    0-of-4 when pressured
    0-of-4 when blitzed

Good QB's stats get better when they're blitzed.

This isn't about emotion, this is about #4's competence at being a professional athlete.  With these stats, #4 wouldn't even make the US Olympic flag football team.

Jameis performs better than this while legally blind.

  • should NEVER have made that trade. You can bet the Dolphins are delighted they backed away from him.

that was so pitiful......Intercepted twice, sacked six times....

Deshaun Watson plays like one of the worst QBs in football, as Browns lose 33-17 in opener to Cowboys (Recap)

"The Cleveland Browns had a deflating home opener, falling to the Dallas Cowboys 33-10. QB Deshaun Watson’s return to the Browns in year number three looked just like the previous two years: he left fans again screaming and wishing the team never made that trade several years ago."

"Don’t get me wrong: the gameplan, given Watson’s inefficiencies and the offensive tackle situation, was poor as well. And the receivers didn’t help by dropping a couple of passes early. But above everything else, the fact remains that Watson just continues to fail the eye test. He is slow in decision-making, slow when trying to exit the pocket, doesn’t see the field well, and has terrible ball placement more times than not."

If Watson played in the Steelers system he would be fine.

This team hasn't lost confidence in #4. They lack confidence in themselves. They are a crew without a captain.

Whatever fucked up Depodesta/Barry/Dee Haslam leadership fuckery is going on, the players see it and they just have nomination to play.

It isn't about money, it is about passion.

Maybe his arm is 'still sore'.

  • I'm new to everything and I'm going to preface pretty much everything I say with that. Also I'm in Korea so I watch all the games Monday evening and go blackout from when they air till I get to see them. What I noticed wasn't so much Watson being a bad QB as Watson being our best running back? Which...is weird right? I mean you guys have been at this longer than me... It's weird for a QB to have to run that much, right? It's weird for a QB jersey with white letters to turn green because he has gotten sacked so many times there's more grass on him than on the field...right? I don't know man, I just, as I said in the pre-season I feel like our pocket belongs on a pair of overalls. It just looks like we aren't protecting anything out there and then we blame 4? I don't even know if I like this guy or if I think he's good or not - I don't feel like he is protected long enough for me to even see. And maybe you know, Dallas was just really good at infiltration and that won't be every game. But I felt this way in pre-season too. And when its happening with rookies AND with starters... I have to wonder personally if its not coaching and general team strategy that needs evaluating, not our running back- gah I mean quarter back....

  • I don't like this guy. I never did like this guy,and I don't think the team even likes this guy. I warned everybody this would happen I saw it last year. I don't need to see anymore he's worthless.

I'm in the same camp.. I said at the time of the trade... This will be an epic failure of colossal proportions... So far... I'm not wrong...

  •  I don't know. Somebody in fantasy football dropped watson in one of the leagues I'm in. If wishes were a dollar, I could buy a nice Toyota van. lol

    If only....

Baker Mayfield vs the Commanders - 24/30, 289 yards and 4 touchdowns, No ints, one sack. Tremendous passion.

the upside is we watched the game on record, so we could fast forward through the commercials.

This defense deserved better - I still think they will be one of the top defenses in football. Ghoolie could be right -

the offense was playing without passion. Under pressure, watson choked. If there is a serious lack of passion, it emanates from the HC. It's just one game.

Unfortunately to me I think it is one game that is a harbinger of the season to come.?

  • I don't know if this has been mentioned anywhere here, but Deshaun lost his father 3 days before the game.

Not making excuses for him, but he didn't look right out there yesterday. Perhaps his loss was some part of that.

  • For me it's one game, that almost makes me regret my Sunday Ticket purchase decision  🙁

Did you tell Haslam before he signed him?

Worthless? $235 million over 5 years? Ah, I think he is worth plenty.

  • Looks like he doesn't want to be on the field. Don't see know confidence. Watching his downfield throws was nauseas. If I'm stefanski, you have your sample over a few seasons. I'm cutting bait and going with Winston. Haslam made HIS bet, thru all his chips in and lost.

Actually it was haslem who pushed the chips into the middle of the table. So yesterday did you notice how dallas had their qb roll out away from myles ? and made alot of quick short throws ? you saw that right ? then why didnt we do the same to get away from parsons ? instead of being in the damn shotgun. It is only game one and if they make the right adjustments it will be interesting to see how #4 fairs next week
