  • ok we restructured Watsons contract and now have a open roster spot. or are we just going to bring someone up from the taxi squad ?

  • Well, I for one thought he might get cut...but when he survived roster cuts, FA pickups, more cuts., etc....I thought he was in.  A little baffling, the timing.

I'd assume Michael will come out of the Woods.  🙂

I almost think the timing is by design. Teams have their roaster set and are focusing on their first game. Seems like a good time for a stray cut in the hopes he passes waivers and ends up on the PS.

  • This is really baffling to me. The guy was all-Big 10 every year.

Great hands, no separation. I guess there's no room for Brian Brennan-types in the NFL anymore.

I don't know that there's no room...but you've gotta be able to get open.  I liked Donovan Peoples-Jones but he was a one or two catch per game guy too.  Still though, the cut comes out of the blue.  Almost as if he called the owner's wife a slut or something.

We need someone to be our Wes Welker (or Juilian Edelmen).  I was hoping that they'd use EJ Moore in that type of roll.  Who knows, perhaps with the addition of Jeudy and the OC switch I'll get my wish.

    Wrong again!  🙂

The Cleveland Browns have signed WR Jaelon Darden to the active roster from the practice squad. In addition, the team elevated CB Mike Ford Jr. and T Germain Ifedi from the practice squad. The Browns also signed WR David Bell to the practice squad.

     -  As soon as I saw this I was like, Of course!  Darden can be used as a returner.

...and nobody wanted Bell.   Right now anyway...

A-ha! I guessed right. Our FO seems to be pretty savvy lately. Very unusual for this franchise, haha.

  • This FO is basically genius-level... except for the OL and QB, arguably the 2 most important position groups on the team.

What the fuck kind of Ole pass blocking was that yesterday?  It was like watching OSU tee off against a directional MAC team that loses their best OL on the first play.

We need someone from the Bill Callahan coaching tree to help this o-line
