The Debate

Agree.
Talking in superlatives all the time. He truly blew it.
Harris, well she dodged the very 1st question about the economy. Trump responded well on that, then he self destructed.
Harris's highlight, yes, there was just one, was the message of unity. But, I don't think it was truly genuine.
NO MENTION OF THE 9-11 ATTACK ON OUR NATION, BY ABC NEWS or the candidates. WTF is all I can say.
Why would they need to mention 9-11? Just cuz it's today?
A huge part of this debate was already living in the past. I think making a whole stink about 9-11 would just make that even worse.

Because it was the second worst attack on American soil. Referencing it to USA safety & security.

It was over 20 years ago man. I don't need today's policies being influenced by a terrorist attack from decades earlier.
Any serious mention of 9/11 by either candidate would have seemed like pandering. And it probably would have been.

Well I admit I'm extremely sensitive about 9/11 as I was a fireman/paramedic nearly 31 years. 343 firemen died along with police, innocent office workers, etc
One of the worst calls I was ever in was when the Browns Board founder, Stan Aten passed. We couldn't save him. He & I coached Little League here together for ~10 years. Yeah, maybe that doesn't mean a whole lot to many, but hits home with me

I'm not saying it wasn't awful or that it doesn't hit close to home for people still today. I'm just saying we shouldn't saying "but 9/11" to determine policy today.

Yes man, multiple times.
While Trump was ranting about migrants eating pets or whatever...
Trump: "you can't trust the media!"
Somehow also Trump: "I saw it on TV!"

A sample size of fucking 10! Hahahaha
The desperate flailing by MAGA the last few weeks really tells you all you need to know about the state of the election

I get what you're saying.
Maybe I'm not conveying my point. We all know that some of the world relies on us for "peace & intervention" while some of the world wants us to " stay out of our affairs.'
Fear-mongering is not a good strategy but ignoring, not speaking about national security/public safety is also a mistake. So where do we "draw the line" on that, well I really don't know. I just worry that sometimes we here take things for granted that everything will be fine, but there's a level of danger out there we simply cannot ignore.
Our infighting with each other can make us vulnerable

The fact that you think it's irrelevant shows what an ass you are.

I'm betting that POS school up north doesn't do this.

Short-sighted? It was over 20 fucking years ago.
Christ, you know Trump must have gotten his ass kicked if the MAGA faithful responses are "her earrings were ear phones!" and "they didn't even mention 9/11!!!!"
20 years is nothing, it's just enough time for all the kids in the Middle East to have grown up hating us while we bombed the shit out of them.
You know damn well the context is kakle word salad thinks the tour on Jan 6th was worse than 9/11, over dramatizing because they want to distract you simple minded left sheep that she has no policies other than more inflation and kackles.
Why does 9/11 trigger the simple minded extreme left nutjobs??
