You can change one thing about our roster or the coaching staff. What do you do? I.e u can change one player or coach.

Well if Jimmy got caught in a similar dilemma Daniel Snyder got caught in.. Anything is possible... But then Dee assumes control I think.. The NFL will cover its ass you can believe that...

  • If I get one change to the 53 or coaching staff, I cut/trade Watson. He is what he has been and will ever be. I would be excited to see any other dude under center starting this week and while I know it won't fix all of our vast problems, it would get rid of the biggest and most distracting one.

  • Bring back a healthy Nick Chubb

  • Romeo Crennel needs another chance.

How much money can you borrow?

For those who want to 'blow it all up'...again...do you really want Haslem picking a new coach and / or GM again?  That's something that I personally would like to avoid.

  • Watson has to go. Go on YouTube and watch the flacco browns highlights. I realize flacco wasn't all sunshine and roses and he threw a fair amount of picks but with him guys like Jerome Ford and Harrison Bryant were looking like studs. Njoku and Cooper looked unstoppable. Stefanski looked like a god damn genius. The offense begins, ends, and revolves around the quarterback. You can't gameplan a shitty quarterback to success in any long term fashion at the NFL level.

    Watson is a shitty quarterback.

The two time coach of the year is the problem eh?  Maybe we can get the bill-hilly, Kitchens, back.

    Your solution is what?

Watson. Got to go. Jameis Winston would look better I guarantee it. He'd throw as many picks as touchdowns but he'd move the football.

Bro, how many times do we repeat the same old excuses as browns fans. We've had nothing...NOTHING...but shitty quarterbacks between couch and Mayfield and you could argue for even further back than couch. It's always the same old thing

    1. The O-Line can't block

    2. The coach can't coach

    3. The receivers can't catch.

It's bull crap. In 20 whatever years how many times do you think Brady went out there with a suspect, injured line? How many times do you think mahomes has? Those guys were/are elite quarterbacks. Look at what Brady worked with at receiver. Joe Flacco wasn't even an elite quarterback he was always a tier II starter of his main era now past his sell by date and he had the browns (Without Chubb) looking like real actual contenders. The browns would look pretty good right now if they had a tier II starter like Kirk Cousins or somebody in his class.

Look, I live in New England, they're on TV every week.  And I can tell you that no matter who was in that OLine for Brady, he had time to count the house.  And eventually he would find someone like Wes Welker, Randy Moss, Julian Eddleman, etc.  He Had Time to Pass.  That's what is required.

I don't like Watson, the person.  But if he can play QB well, then I want him to stay.  We need to see him play week in and week out in order to determine if he's rounding into form or not.  He's improved each week this season.  Unfortunately his OLine is going in the opposite direction with multiple injuries.  The Giants blitzed every other play.  The rag-tag OLine was allowing pressures, sacks and getting called for holding.  And that's been the case for all three games so far.

let's let the season play out and perhaps we'll get an answer to what we need to do in the next offseason, FA and the draft.  This is Watson's season to prove himself...whether he gets hurt or not.

We literally invested a quarter billion dollars in this guy to be elite not to see if he progresses from week to week.

Tom Brady was in New England for like twenty years. There's a 0% chance he never played behind substandard o-lines and injured ones and ones that were both injured and substandard.

Again, he has not played much football in the last several years.  It would take time to get back to a good place.  Perhaps he never will.  This season is to tell the story.

And again, Brady always had time to count the house.  (except for the super bowl against the Giants, and as a result he was quite human that day) And yes, he had backups in there from time to time like every other team but somehow it was drilled into them that Brady could not be touched.  But then, you may believe whatever you want.

  • Brownswire graded the positions from week 3.   Here's the OL:

    Offensive Line: F

It’s hard to begin on how poor the offensive line’s performance was not only yesterday but all three weeks of the season. The team has now given up the most sacks of the season and took the lead in this category after they allowed eight today. Starting right tackle Dawand Jones had a surprisingly bad performance as well and contributed to the sack total. It was extremely difficult for Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson or any of Cleveland’s running backs to have positive production with the defensive rush being so dominant.

One benefit of the doubt numerous injuries have piled up for first-year offensive line coach Andy Dickerson. He’s had his hands full dealing with injuries from starting offensive tackles Jedrick Wills and Jack Conklin and now has to worry about Wyatt Teller’s knee. Two other offensive tackles also went down at one point for the Browns on Sunday. They will have to figure out the offensive line situation immediately, and many are wondering what the answer might be.

  • Back to the same old excuses we made for mccoy, weeden, kizer, kessler and manziel. It's all the o-lines fault.

Seriously go back and look at the comments from those eras. Same old shit. Brady "always had time to throw" because he was an actual elite QB that made quick decisions.

Watson is a shitty quarterback and a sexual offender to boot. Fuck Watson and fuck his simps.

There weren’t people blaming Baker’s performance on the OLine?

Between the 1.5 INTs per game and beating 3 of the worst teams in the NFL, I'm not sure where anyone saw "actual contenders".

  • Jimmy Haslam is the root cause of our problems - Haslam's intervening got Alex Van Pelt fired when the dude did nothing but have an overachieving offense in 2023 and we went 11-6 and made the playoffs. Our offense was #10 in scoring in 2023. Considering we lost Chubb in game 2, had a practice squad offensive line by year end, and had four QB's including full games with DTR and P.J. Walker - I think that was impressive.

Jimmy Haslam is a Jerry Jones type idiot who thinks he is the football genius god of the universe.

Ya know, I don't think that he actually thinks that.  But I DO think he's on the knee-jerk side of the ledger.  After all, he fired two sets of coaches in one calendar year when he took over the team.  And he tends to listen to the last person that's had his ear.  Which is usually DePodesta.  That said, he hired Kitchens (listening to Dorsey) when DePo wanted Stefanski.

This organization needs stability.  We can't continuously be firing coaches and setting the organization back to zero.  Haven't we learned over and over that that doesn't work?  All along this 25 year journey I've stated repeatedly, You can't have stability for the sake of stability.  You've got to have the right people to be stable with.  We've had countless HC/GM pairs that have been pathetic.  Some laughable.  Some driving out good coordinators like the Shannahan debacle.  We finally have a pair that plays nice with one another...a two time HC of the year...and people want to kick 'em all out and let Haslem hire new ones with the Big Brain that he possess.  FUCK NO!  Let's have some stability like good organizations do.  We have a pretty good pair.  Are they perfect?  I bet not.  But you will never find perfection.  And whoever you were to bring in...will have to deal with Jimmuh....just like all the others.

Sorry but these clowns aren't even remotely getting it done... .. We have had rosters good enough to go deep in the playoffs... The one and done act is old... We have a QB whose cooked.. And a HC who is a beta and has 0 control of this locker room.. An owner that has swindled people in the past.... Fuck these losers... They blow! We have Garrett, Cooper Chubb.. and still can't sniff a SB... the excuses don't fly anymore charlie...

Great points T!  Inexplicably, they did beat playoff teams like SF, Baltimore (in rematch), Pittsburgh (in rematch) and Houston (without CJ Stroud).  On the other hand, they laid an egg in Seattle, Denver and LA aside from losing 3 games in the AFC North.

  • Just move the f****** team to Egypt
